Hey managers,

Thanks so much for your support and encouragement in the last blog post by our CEO, Jack Basford. If you have not done already, I invite you all to read it and learn more about what is going inside the studio and a quick look at our road map for the new couple of months. To continue with the announcement, I would like to introduce all managers to the Special Abilities of Technical Directors. This is the first of a string of updates we will be releasing in quick succession. We are just as excited as you are to launch it and bring new gameplay to iGP Manager. We will go one by one explaining the perks of each Special Ability and how to use it:

Fuelling:
Common: More fuel consumption insight with 2 decimal precision in practice
Rare: More fuel consumption insight with 2 decimal precision in practice and race results
Legendary: More fuel consumption insight with 2 decimal precision in practice and race results, plus 1 decimal precision on rival teams in the same race

Design:
Common: One extra Design Point to tune your car on an attribute up to your choice.
Rare: Two extra Design Points to tune your car on an attribute up to your choice.
Legendary: Three extra Design Points to tune your car on an attribute up to your choice.

Telemetry:
Common: See your driver's mistakes for one practice lap per car. This includes the time loss deducted from the total.
Rare: See your driver's mistakes for three practice laps per car. This includes the time loss deducted from the total.
Legendary: See your driver's mistakes for five practice laps per car. This includes the time loss deducted from the total.

Race Engineer:
Common: Manually set Push Level for one practice lap per car to assess the impact on fuel consumption, tyre wear and lap time.
Rare: Manually set Push Level for three practice laps per car to assess the impact on fuel consumption, tyre wear and lap time.
Legendary: Manually set Push Level for five practice laps per car to assess the impact on fuel consumption, tyre wear and lap time.

The goal of this update is to give you more ways to gather and analyze data, helping you improve as a team manager. Thanks to that we are adding more tasks you can engage in outside of races and enhancing the overall gameplay experience. Keep in mind, you can have up to five Technical Directors on your team. Depending on what your team needs, you can mix and match their abilities to maximize your opportunities.

RELEASE DATE:
We are thrilled to announce that the update will go live on Monday, July 29, 2024. Our team has been working diligently to ensure a smooth rollout. In the weeks following the release, we will be hosting an open roundtable discussion to gather your feedback. As with any major update, we may encounter minor bugs and balance tweaks, so your input will be invaluable. This update does not require a maintenance window so the service will not be stopped.
