Sad to see the game is continuously being changed to get more and more benefits from buying and spending tokens. To win or not to win is much more dependent on how many tokens you spend than it was earlier. Although I like the kind of changes that were done (f.e. when the special abilities for the drivers came up). Now I additionaly have the option to boost my TD but with low effect and a very high prize.

Surely the developers need their income. And I have spent tokens in the past. But meanwhile we've reached a level where the managers who are not being able (or are not willing to) invest money have a clear disadvantage to others. It wasn't like that in earlier days.

It is correct that it is a disadvantage for the most "humble" to put it in a way. I returned recently after about 4 or 5 years and I like the changes I found but it is also noticeable, as you say, the tendency to have to pay more to be able to continue. competing at the same level as those who can pay (translation by google xD)

6 years that I play iGP… I always loved this game because it was not a “pay to win”.

Only the talent of manager was used to win.

Today you will have to pay to be competitive.

And that changes everything !

Mr Basford… you are killing the soul of your game…

I agree. I am sad the game is heading in a “pay to win” direction. It is great to have these features, but not for the money you need to spend. £17 or something for a legendary ability? Such a shame.

The issues began with the ten additional levels, because a newcomer now needs to spend at least 2 years to become competitive and tell me who nowadays has the stamina to race without success for such a long period.

Seriously interested newcomers rush through inactive rookie and pro classes to end up with a level 12 account in Elite and then they get bored because they got lapped in each race, 90% of them are leaving the game after a certain time.

Of course IGP developers, web designers and all the other staff are not working for free, only to provide us a rather good game.

Therefore i spent little money from time to time to support them, although its not mandatory for me.

But at least the communities expectation is, that a game improves from time to time, e.g. new tracks, new game features, which really have an impact (give cooling and reliability a meaning), not features like the dumb pit crew idea.

Personally i also dont need an updated car livery or new hats in the shop,

I would pay some more money, if i would notice real changes or at least that they are removing eternal exisiting bugs, like the pit stop issues.

It's crazy that the TD abilities are stackable so in the case of the design points abilty they are straight up selling 15 design points for  A THOUSAND tokens.....  yeah where do I sign up..   getting real close to being done with this game... Until then I will refer to this game as PTW manager instead of IGP manager

Just putting a note here that i've had to remove a few posts from the thread which were inappropriate in one way or the other. And usually from a newly created level 1 account.

Before you choose to interact with these posts, do try to consider that if a post is coming from an account created within the last few days, there's a decent chance they are out to cause trouble not just for admins but also for other players as well.

I Just wanted to communicate that Its ok to voice your opinions on the update, but a constructive approach is greatly appreciated and if a post breaches the terms of service you could face sanctions.

If you aren't sure if you are crossing a line: terms of service can be found here. Section V. Code of Conduct should help you out with your understanding.
