Disqualification

Good afternoon. One question. Yesterday, during the French Grand Prix, the forecast was for a wet track. It was 4.5 mm before the race, but by the start of the race, it had dropped to 0.7 mm.

Practically all the cars started on intermediates, but when the track dried, everyone switched to dry tires. I personally ran on mediums until the end of the race, after switching to intermediates, but I was disqualified. 

I didn't understand.  

It’s a know issue. If you use dry compounds you must use 2 different one, even if the race started wet.
