Hello,
I’ll be direct: the new transfer market system is a negative change that is actively harming the gameplay experience.
The previous system, with 4-minute refreshes, was dynamic, competitive, and most importantly, fair. It allowed players to make active decisions without forcing them to stay online for extended periods.
The new 1-hour system completely breaks that balance:
- Bidding has become absurd. Average drivers are now reaching 120–160 million and over 150–200 tokens. This is not balance — it is uncontrolled inflation.
- The system encourages fear-based overbidding rather than strategy. Players feel forced to massively overbid simply because they cannot monitor a full one-hour auction.
- It effectively forces players to stay online for long periods or accept losing opportunities, which is unrealistic for most of the player base.
- The market has lost its dynamic and strategic nature and now depends more on availability than on management skill.
Where this becomes even worse:
In critical situations, such as replacing a retiring driver, the system becomes highly frustrating and unreliable. You can find a suitable driver, bid for him, and lose him at the last second. Then you are forced to wait another full hour, with the risk that no suitable driver appears at all. Even if one does, the exact same situation can repeat again. This creates a loop of waiting, luck, and overbidding, instead of rewarding planning and management.
Honestly, this system gives the impression that it is designed to push players into spending more tokens and money, rather than improving gameplay.
This is not a minor issue — it is a clear downgrade of one of the core mechanics of the game.
This system needs to be reconsidered urgently. Reverting to the previous system or significantly reducing the duration would be a good starting point.
Right now, the transfer market is one of the worst-designed aspects of the game.
Thank you.
