How do levels work for Staff Members?

Recently I was in the market for some new staff members, and the general assumption is that the higher number of stars they are, they better.


What I don't understand, is that my old TD is Level 15 at 4.5 stars, had the stats of 16 Talent, 16 Experience, and 16 Morale, while being 43

My new TD is Level 16, 5 stars with the stats of 15 Talent, 16 Experience, and 13 Morale, while being age 50.

I don't understand how an old TD with worse stats could be a higher level. Can anyone explain this to me?

I really can't understand this, the only thing that could in my opinion influence this is number of race won.
And I've got an other question, ho does the level of the office & ospitality affect the moral of a staff member who had much moral than the minimum??

The stats are quite confusing indeed. The only red line that seems to be there is that usually older staff have a better star rating.

If you hire staff with less morale than the level of your offices the morale value will be raised. The problem is it doesn't seem to raise the level or the star rating of staff by doing so. So it looks like it's pointless. There might be a very slight chance that only things like hiring/firing or so updates those stats and this wasn't noticed by people testing it, but I wouldn't bet anything on it.

I'd really like to understand this better. I am upgrading my O&H at the moment to improve my staff (didn't realise it didn't affect drivers) but it appears to be money wasted to me.

Yeah, in my opinion, it is currently a facility that isn't making an impact on anything.

I don't think this facility increases the bonus from sponsors. My experience is increasing in level increases the payout received from sponsors.
