Hey guys,

Does it make sense to upgrade the "Offices and hospitality"?
What does it influence?

How does higher Moral influence the game?

thx

That facility is a mystery to me, I am using a test account and that is one facility I do not plan on upgrading.

I should gather information on that facility by asking Jack about it...

It increases staff (not driver) morale.

No one knows for what good that is. I once thought it could give the staff some levels, but even if it does, the effect is so insignificant that I don't really see a need in prioritizing the thing.

Design, Manufacturing, and Technology are the 3 important buildings to max as much as possible first.

isn't the Youth Academy worth focusing on (after the design) to say level 10 so that you can obtain a 20 Talent driver if you're say a level 9 manager and only gaining like 40xp per race?

Depends on if you think the opportunity cost is worth it. Also, it'll cost tokens finding a 20 talent driver, and then another 15 tokens to sign them up as well. There's also the fact that they cannot train as fast when your manager level is lower.

Most players get the Youth Academy a bit later (levels 14-15 or so onwards), and get their 20 talent drivers through the transfers when they don't have a YA yet. Drivers from transfers have high signing fees and expensive salary though (salary can be 800k-1m+ per race if you buy a lvl 13-14+ driver). The reason why Youth Academy drivers have much cheaper salary is they start out at levels 4-5.

However, I've seen some managers get the YA as early as level 10-12, and they've managed to get their 20 talent drivers already (not sure if they purchased tokens with real $ or not).

Any news about what hospitality facility does? Is it related to pit stops somehow?

True that. Had my T20 driver through the YA at Level 12. The reason I did this I had maxed out the other relevant buildings and was curious how this worked. So after an attempt of 8 I hit hit the L20 driver. As I went through I got a little disappointed at first. Yes he had talent 20. But he was level 4 when I bought him for 15 tokens. It took me 25 races to get him at a competitive level 13.

As mentioned by Boomer Kid; the big advantage is salary. I have a talented 20 driver for €344K contract. My other driver is a talent 17 level 14 driver with a €826K contract. Combine this advantage with the purchase value (if you set the value of a token @€900K 23 * €900.000 gives €20.700.000 for a T20 driver) it makes sense.

All in all I think buying a driver through the YA is a better way of developing your team.

My focus of development my HQ is:
A. Technology
B. Design
C. YA
D. Manufacturing
E. Simulator
F. Offices (figures how I value the Offices)

And I did not bought tokens up until now:)
