Unable to purchase any staff

I have tried to purchase new staff for a few days now with out any success.
I have tried bidding and buy now and when I try to click the green proceed button nothing happens?
Is there a bug at the moment? I have tried in 3 different web browser, IE10, chrome and firefox.

Hi Gavin, have you tried the solution posted in the FAQ?

It is the fifth question down.
