I think thats my fault 360, or to be more specific, its jason mccrae's fault for making me miss out on 3 reruns, right before the serverswitch.
I will admit, ur probably the most active, not in league-manager. So im really sorry for u. Imo u couldve stayed on, all i wanted was jason mccrae sacked from my previous league. For he came on once a week just to keep host. Didnt care at all about the (over) 45 teams in his league.

Guess the good suffer under the acts of the bad ones.
Sorry man.

On that note, thnx to yunus n jack 4 adressing the issue. If i could id give u both 6 coins for ur trouble n time. Or u can take it after next race (currently im at 10)

That is true but if you make it so that 14+ days out of the league and 5 days offline classifies as inactive, we'll be much closer to identifying 100% of actual cases of inactivity instead of 90 if it even is 90.

No. The 5 days is what jason did, come on once every 5 days just to hold on to host. Its bs. If a host is off 2 days and a race needs a rerun, we cant ask for a rerun cus only host can..... and host wont ask for a rerun cus hes off 2 days n can only request for previous day rerun.

"If a host is off 2 days and a race needs a rerun, we cant ask for a rerun cus only host can"- In that case the problem is the fact that hosts are allowed to spend 2 days offline, not that they aren't in a league. You could have a team in the league and still spend 3 days offline. Oh well, it seems like I'm just going to have to deal with it now.

Can you revert the host admin back to the original? Because this guy, Andrea, just join the league, only done 1 race, and then claiming to be the host. I thought the requirement for taking over is must had 20 races within the league. Now, after creating a poll, he left the league. He created a disturbance for the whole member in the league. What a smart **g, isn't it?

I lost my league in which I didn't partecipate. I was managing it from the external and participants were fine with that. Is it intended behaviour?

I had the same issue and as you can see it's intended and they aren't going to change it, they should definitely give you your league back though since you had no idea though.

I think this just shows that a message or notification HAS to be given to managers multiple days before something like this is implemented, instead it's not even being told to new league hosts or even established ones who never knew of the rule! It seems a bit cruel tbh...

(As always...) i have a very simple solution (it will take some programming tho)
-change everything to the old situation.
-create a button that says request rerun.
-if a percentage of the people in the league press the button -- either
--force a rerun (or if thats not possible or too much work)
--autosend a message to an admin so he can force a rerun.

I think this way everybody can be happy

Update:
We were about 16-16-16 participants when I was the "external host". Now, almost all of pro users left the league. More than half of elite users left the league. The host left. The league is dead, thank you moderators for destroying my league. Nobody asked for that!!! What a shame...

Hi DeX,
Obviously this is the one bad situation to come from this change. Most have been positive. I have an idea, although unfortunately it seems too late to repair the damage done to your league. I think it could prevent this from happening again in future.

We could have a 'host rating' for managers, a bit like how websites like eBay have a seller/buyer rating. Participants in leagues can rate the host they have. If a host achieves a certain amount of positive reviews, then they are allowed to host leagues externally.

How does that sound? It will take a while to program such a system, but I believe it could enhance the quality of the hosting across the game. Such a system could also be used to vote out incompetent hosts and to prevent them from being allowed to host leagues.

Can votes be changed?
For a host hosting a league while in it may get a good review, and then leave like jason n turn into a ..... bad one.
There must be a way to , as a league-community, vote out hosts like jason.

I think you've misunderstood. The rating would be of person hosting the league, not the league. It would be attached to the manager and go with them everywhere in iGP.

I think that part was understood by Bo and what he meant is if a host was a good one and you rated him accordingly as a good one, but over time he maybe gradually looses interest and turns into a bad host. Can you alter your already given vote, or vote again after some time, to reflect that change?

On the whole I'm a bit mixed about a rating hosts personally. For example there some guys in the German forums that rubbed some people the wrong way with some forums posts, criticising the game not entirely fairly mainly, and since then about every post is getting thumbs down. I can imagine some personal dislikes might lead to host downvotes as well, especially if those votes are anonymous, but if they're not it might lead to some revenge voting and league kick dramas.

Maybe something more simple like hitting that take over league button automatically starting a vote for X days between old host and new wannabe might be better, but I'd be happy to be proven wrong with this.

I see, but do you really think this would be a common enough occurrence to warrant not implementing such a system? A generally good host can surely outweigh 'troll votes' with enough positive ones.

Returning to the question then, I'm not sure about re-rating a host, but maybe rating them *again* after a certain amount of time could be possible? E.g. monthly.

I think this would be alot easier.

For where it al started was that we (as not being host) are not allowed to request reruns.
I think simplest solution would be to drop the rule where only hosts can request rerun.
And when someone request a rerun an admin should force a vote in the league.
(The vote would b there so that pathetic losers dont request reruns everytime they cant attend or simply lose due to bad results)
This way even terrible hosts like jason mcrae can stay host.

Basically, we need a go-around thats not going to be ignored due to someone not being host.
