i dont think its a 24h limit, after i trained it said 22 hours until you can train, which therefore would soon work in the other direction
Ditto.

Not a fan, is it not possible to do it without a timer?
On one of my accounts im stuck with a 2 hour period before the race that I can train my drivers.

Then why am I getting this?
Trained: Physical
You may train this driver again 23 hours ago
Why do I have to wait 23 hours to train my drivers? I haven't raced since 48 hours ago and I trained my drivers straight after that race as far as I remember, 48 hours ago.
I don't understand why I have to wait another 23 hours from now? I should be able to train as soon as the race is over..

I'm getting the same thing as Enos now. Driver training says after the next race; staff training says "You may train your staff again 2 days ago".
Shane Hendrixson medal 5000 12 years 94 days ago
Hmm here is something I do not like about the new system. Tomorrow, I'm probably not going to be able to train my drivers.
I trained one of my drivers at 12.29pm local time today, when the race lockout is 12.30pm. I can't train my drivers for another 20 hours. So I have a 1 minute window to train my drivers tomorrow? Chances are I'm going to miss it, so I'm going to miss a race worth of training.
That seems a little silly to be honest. I like the idea that we're stopping cheaters but once every 24 hours is making timing really annoying. Why can't it be once every race, or just a simple system like when you switch leagues you can't train your drivers for 24 hours atleast. That gives 99% of the users the ability to train their drivers whenever and it still stops the league hoppers.

It's borked for me still..
Says "You may train this driver again 4 days ago"
Jason Owens medal 5000 12 years 93 days ago
Is there a way to implement a flagged value so that if you have not left a league in the previous 24 hours then it reverts to race based availability to train, but if you have changed leagues then it defaults to the 24 hour clock for training?
I only ask because it seems that this will prevent people from training their staff/driver every day. I don't have a set time when I am able to do my daily updates, and if I do it in the afternoon one day, I no longer have the option to do it the following morning w/ the 24 hour clock.

Completely agree with this
Neil Robinson medal 5000 12 years 93 days ago
i think it possibly is the best way, the 24 hour rule, as previous rule was that you can train after every race, which means league hopping possible. This way still allows you to league hop but with no benefit
Shane Hendrixson medal 5000 12 years 93 days ago
Why not have a rule where if you switch leagues, you can't train your drivers for 24 hours? Is that possible to implement? That would save all the fuss, and means we don't have a set window where we can train our drivers. Everyone is going to miss training at some point in time with this new system. You can't train your drivers instantly so you're always working with a window bigger than 24 hours every day, so you're going to miss one eventually.
Viktor Kenji medal 5000 12 years 93 days ago
Still doesn't understand how the exploit works? You can't race more then once per day anyways?
Blake Coppo medal 5000 12 years 93 days ago
I'm getting a messages which read: "You may train this driver again 1 hour ago" and "You may train your staff again 1 hour ago" but I can't train my driver or staff.

The training window needs to be smaller than 24 hours is all I'm saying. 23 hours maybe would be fine, but the way it is now people are going to eventually miss training sessions. It's still annoying having your training on a time frame in the first place - I can't guarantee I can get online at the exact same time every day, especially if my training window is at a completely different time to my race.
Shane Hendrixson medal 5000 12 years 93 days ago
Ok I take it all back, the training window is smaller than 24 hours, so that is fine. I'm able to train my drivers now, 22 hours after I did it yesterday, so it should work fine.
Marc Wulf medal 5000 12 years 93 days ago
not having the ability to train my drivers/staff after my last race
Kay Wilms medal 5000 12 years 93 days ago
I'm also getting the same thing now. Driver training and staff training says "You may train your staff again 30 minutes ago".
Ryan Ware medal 5000 12 years 93 days ago
This is stupid.
I am to set my practice runs along with other tasks now, as I will not get back from work until 22:10. Preparation locks at 22:00 and the race starts at 22:30.
Which means as I have to wait 3 hours to train.....stupidly...I won't be able to train either my staff or drivers. Why not just ban obscene league hoppers instead of creating a means which is now hampering all the rest of the players.
Jake Goodhall medal 5000 12 years 93 days ago
Well it appears the devs are at least trying to sort the 'exploit problem' that was complained of in the first place.
Now the complaint is of the 'fix' - and ok I understand that it isn't working to everyone's liking but maybe that is the best that can be done at the moment.
Give it time - it's obviously got some way to go as the messages do not make sense.
I think some of the ideas for 'simple' solutions are anything but simple but as usual, all ideas are welcome.
