We have 3 spots open at this time, there are also 3 races left in the season.

Same question applies. Are there any slots available? Cheers.

All to play for now that there is 1 race left this season. The first 3 places in the championship are separated by 6 points, so anything can happen in the closing race of Abu Dhabi. Great racing and very very close action!
Last race in Brazil, the winner was the only team/driver with a 1-stop strategy who won by just over 6 seconds. Making his tires last longer than expected and winning on strategy alone. Great race!

Greg Broz medal 5000 11 years 217 days ago
Something odd happened. I thought it was just with those that were promoted, but it looks like everyone in the league may be having issues. Send a helpdesk ticket in.

Jack is already working on this
Greg Broz medal 5000 11 years 216 days ago
I think Jack has taken care of most, if not all, of the problems already

Fantastic first season, i joined the league one or two races in so i wasnt expecting a podium placement, instead i shot for top 10 and made it. 8th in the manager standings and my driver made 9th overall, not too bad. I spent some time going over the forums and learning the basics of the game, i suggest that any new players take a look at the gameplay assistance forum, lots of useful information in there. it was a fun season trying to chase down the leaders and improve as much as possible.
I'm starting the new season with an all new crew and a pretty good starting car. My team is very young and i plan to keep them together for many seasons. Most of my car design last season was focused towards this season, i expect to beable to keep up with the faster cars this time. I still havent been able to sign a contract with murk engines, hopefully after the first race i can get an offer accepted.

Good Luck Joseph.
It is nice to hear from people who enjoy the game. It must be good for the devs and mods to read this too.

I had a fun first season. I joined the league and then kind of lost interest before it even started. Then one sunday, quite a few races into the season, i logged on to see what it was all about and i've been hooked ever since. It really doesn't take all that much work during the week. I have my crew work on the car, they send an email when they are done, then i have them work on another part of the car and so on. When Sunday rolls around, I hop on, review my strategy again, run the practice laps to tweak the car setup and wait for it to qualify and then race. I only wish there was an option in game to hop into the race chat a half hour or so before the race. And with the improvements to the free Live Timing Control, it became even better. And if you don't think you can make it to a race, check the weather forecast and set up your strategy before hand. And swap out those parts that are almost used up. It seems every week we have teams retiring as soon as it goes green, which I'm guessing is because those parts are worn out. Anyway, i'm looking forward to another fun season and my first podium!

Good to read that you are also enjoying the race experience Todd.
I like your idea about chatting before the race as a lot of strategy can be discussed then or just get to know the other managers.
Good luck in your next season - and yes it is very addictive!

I've been an F1 (motorsport in general) fan for many many years and when I first heard of this I knew I had to try it. I registered and did a little work in the first 2 races, but was unable to login due to timing (it was too close to Christmas and NYE). After that I subscribed and started really playing it and finished the season 2nd in my series with several podiums but no wins. Obviously the funnest part is the race, chatting with the guys and trying to win in overall strategy, but setting up the car, making sure I'm getting the best parts, drivers, staff and most money out of the sponsors makes up for the rest of the week that I can't race. Have had a few wet races and it was really good, figuring out tyre temperatures, degradation, etc. Very realistic! With a few bugs to iron out like the out-of synch images sometimes, but they are minor and don't detract from the overall racing (managing) experience which is what counts.
This league has been fantastic because we were all fair and in the same learning process. I switched to a 100% race league with 2 cars now, but I would highly recommend this league for anyone that wants to race a 1-car league. Fantastic! Thanks to Greg Broz for hosting it, a great host.

Glad you too are enjoying the experience Vincente.
I think there are probably quite a lot of players who are enjoying the game as much as you are but they don't let us know - which is a shame as I am sure the devs would like some positive feedback just like these posts.
Vicente Salas medal 5000 11 years 205 days ago
Well Jake, I will do all possible to promote the game. I think it is a very well thought out product and deserves the recognition and support!
Todd Kukkola medal 5000 11 years 203 days ago
I just bought the subscription today! I really wanted to be able to see the cars on the track, I miss that. So the next race should be even more fun. A hint for people that don't know...when adding gas during a stint, if you have 10 liters when pitting and you add 40 liters, you won't have 50 liters when you exit the pits. You will have 40 liters. So if you need 50 to finish, add 50. It's happened to me before and it happened to someone else in our race today.

I've just recently joined this race league and I'm loving it. So far I'm 4 races in to the game, and until today I haven't been able to get the 2D viewer working due to an issue on my end but now that I've solved that I've purchased a subscription to the game and I'm looking forward to racing here for a long time.
Each race so far I've seen an improvement with the performance of my car, which is cool to see since it's all been off of pre-selected strategy and no control during the race. Monaco, our last race, was a great breakthrough for me. I qualified 12th, which is actually not my best, out of 32 cars and managed to make my way into 7th with no influence over the car through the race. My first points! I'm hooked already and I haven't even started playing with live car strategy control! I'm looking forward to Turkey and I've been pouring over every possible detail I can in this game I think it is and will continue to pay off on Sundays. See you all on the race track!
