Tyres
I'd like to see supplier supply different services and with the costing varying not just on the quality but the variety.
If we had 10 different compounds. 7 Dry weather and 3 wet weather.
The default and cheapest supplier supply's 2 types - A alround wet and an alround dry tyre.
The most expensive suppliers supply 7 of the 10. The cheapests suppliers charge around $5,000 per race and the most expensive $100,000 per race.

Variety
Rather than vary the tyres from season to season why not vary the tracks within parameters. Tracks get ware and maybe relaid, corners adjusted etc. Some tracks like Australia are street tracks and get normal traffic for 11 months of the year. And then there's the weather.

Test Runs
Currently we get 5 test runs to adjust our cars as close to race time as pssible. Why not have fixed weather conditions and a fixed race forcast, from the end of the previous race to the lockdown. Don't have a problem with the chance of a change in weather but it should be the same for everybody regardless when you can do your setup.
Instead of the current adjustments I'd like to see the manager instruct the Technical director on the type of test. I always get within a whisker of 7 feel goods which makes it more a process than an exercise in judgement.

Still have 5 runs but.
Run them like this.
Test 1: push hard, hard compound
Result: Time: 1:15.68, Ware: 4%, Heat .6 deg., Suspension degradation 10%, Engine degridation 6%. Fuel Usage 3.65l
Test 2: middle setting, Very hard compound
Result: Time: 1:16.12, Ware: 1%, Heat .2 deg., Suspension degradation 9%, Engine degridation 7%. Fuel Usage 3.9l
Etc..
Then you could have 3 x 10 lap simulations.
This is where your technical directors skills and the quality of the simulator come into play.At the end of the process he suggests a race strategy but you direct him.
This does seem a little complex especially for newer players but there should be an option for an autotest and setup with fair but definitely not optimum results. The test process (even the autotest) should then be available to view (and copy and paste).

Unattended Races
The advanced Strategy should include the push options for each of each stint.

Lap 2: Middle
Lap 3: Strategic
Lap 4: Strategic
Lap 5: Strategic
Lap 6: Strategic
Lap 7: Strategic

Stint 2

Lap 3: Strategic
Lap 4: Strategic
Lap 5: Strategic
Lap 6: Strategic
Lap 7: Strategic

Lap 10: Push
Lap 11: Push Hard

Sorry I do go on but I love this game.

At least you go on in a positive manner and try to help improve the game.
No harm in that - every little helps!
