Yes, you’re right. The calendar is fixed to 15 races per season.

When do I have to select the race tracks for next season? Before the last race of the season? 

You can do it at any time. It probably goes on for next season though


Yes, that was the question I meant. When do I have to check and save the race tracks at the latest, so that it will be next season's schedule?

@Gert: Because different people have different preferences. I for once would also like to be able to race an endurance season with all tracks, or a longer season with let's say 20 races. I agree that there should be a minimum amount of races per season, but there shouldn't be a max cap yet imo.

The league host should be able to choose between 15 races and 20 races. My ideal would be 16, but that's due to the number of races in the real F1 when i started watching it.

Unless they change the DP allocation per race, anything more than a 20 race season would end up with many players starting the next season with most attributes at 50% regardless of the number of CD's used the previous season.

15 races per season is not enough, at least give us the option for more even if it’s only like it was before with 17 per season.
For another thing It messes all our league statistics up as no one will get any near any of our league records (which we have a lot of) set with 17 races plus one season at 19 races....

What happens if you don't save a calendar for next season? Does the game just make up it's own one? Maybe it keeps the seasons at 20 races xD

Yea, thats true. In my league, we finished the season yesterday and now I have found a random calendar. First race, Singapore. I went to league options and saw new circuits and how it works, 15 circuits and so.


Now i have to choose the best circuits and how to order them. But first race is Singapore, no idea when it will change... For round 2 or for next season.

I'd like to have the option between 15 and 20 circuits in a sigle season.

Something I was just thinking about, what will the starting designs be for new members in an elite tier in time for first race, I’m basing this next bit on a 5 star designer, at the moment a new team has there standard parts at 43 with strength at 50 and weakness at 20.

Normally a player who has done a whole season in the league for 17 race season there standard parts were 43 and if only 1 designer the strength at 50.

For a 19 race season a players standard parts are 48.
So that’s a 5 point increase.

So now what will happen with 15 races?
I assume it will be another 5 point loss on the standard parts compared to a 17 races season making them all 38 approx, which will be 5 points on each 6 car design areas less than a new team joining I guess or not?

When teams join a league their cars are reset. Providing the reset is based on the number of races per season of the league they are joining they shouldn't get an advantage over the existing teams.
But you raise a good point which I have already mentioned to the devs. If league hosts are permitted to define the number of races per season the way in which initial design is calculated for managers joining a league will need to be carefully looked at to prevent potential exploits where the joining manager either gets an unfair advantage in the first season or we see the reintroduction of the dreaded "second season design bug".
This is because we will have the possibility of players moving from short to long seasons and vice versa and also a league may have variable length seasons.

worked for me but i would like to be able to choose season length as i feel 15 is too short,at 15 races it will make an early winner of races 1 2 and 3 so much harder to run down, would be nice to be able to pick order of races too

You can do that, just drag and drop in the list.

you can select more tracks but it won't save unless at 15 races,also even when I try pick order of races it then decides for itself, it doesn't matter though for now as we have decided on random selection as we think is the fairest way for all
