We do this in our league, as it got boring or "vetteling" but we do it on a gentlemans agreement - anyone caught not doing the required 2 compound races forfeits a race.

But as we have the new tyre compounds, currently trialing out which compounds are best for each track.

For 2 compounds to work, the IGP developers need to add a push level setting when configuring the stint as doing 2 compounds becomes boring once people figure what push level to use for each track / temperature and tyres - we found this out in our 14th season.

Well from what I have read alot of people are for and against this. Maybe the best way to do this would be a league option. Hopefully Jack will read this and maybe he can do some private races with the staff or something to see if it generally improves the racing.

I am in a league that runs 3 days per week.. So this doesn't really bother me.. BUT I can 100% understand why it would get stale for the 7 days per week managers.. So a slight change evey 3 month where the devs can jump on one track. See that the softs are the better tyres and then change the values to make the Mediums the better one.. but the devs do not let anybody know what they changed and by how much.. Keep it blind.. If the devs have to inform us, then they make a very quick post with a small amount of info to let us know that they have had a slight change.

We could have a situation @ Monaco where 1 season the Super Softs are the best and then the next time you are on it.. The Medium are the choice tyre...

As well as the tyres, refueling creates a problem. Once you put the fuel in for a stint you cannot push the tyres that little bit further and you don't want to come in earlier as that would mean a bigger fuel load for the next stint. What this does is split the race into mini-races to the next pit stop. No chance not to push quite so hard and eek out a few more laps from these tyres. The difference in fuel consumption negates this as a tactic.

Well, put more fuel in your car then. It isn't that difficult...

This would make non-live controllers at an even larger disadvantage, which I would not like.  I'm one of the only love control managers in my league, and I usually beat better teams and drivers simply because I can monitor tire temps better.  I'd prefer for it to be a bigger challenge.  I'd like ot suggest, instead, that the driver push orders be configurable for each stint during set-up.  This would encourage non-live controllers to use different tire types without worring that a push setting for one tire will ruin a different tire type.
