To answer the original suggestion, it's a valid point. I'll see what we can do to integrate this in to the livery editor.

Thank you and appreciate the response and info on the other topic ?

Thanks Jack. Any update on an overhead render of how the actual livery will look in 2D viewer before spending coins and it not looking as you expect?

Hi Folks.
The number of times I've had a nice 3D livery that looks like crap from above cannot be counted on two hands

Thanks.

Everyone.

If you don't have Photoshop download it. Open in Photoshop a picture with the livery you need, or with the colors you need

Double click on the squares with black and white colors at the bottom left. In the new window click the Web Friendly Colors square at the bottom left

By clicking on the photo or on the drawing with the livery, select the desired colors. Copy (one by one) to the clipboard the codes of the selected colors, and paste them (also one by one) into one of the cells with the color in the livery editor

In the Web Friendly Colors table, try to choose colors from the far right column. Except for the basic Black #000000, Matte Black #999999, White #FFFFFF and Silver #СССССС in the left column, avoid the colors in the middle. As they either look burnt out or give a sudden metallic/matte effect (which looks good only on certain Grand Prix) or give the wrong shade altogether

After filling in all the cells with the color codes, select the free livery on the far left. Test it in a Quick Race session. Like it - choose favourite livery, and enjoy a beautiful car. Don't like it - experiment further

No. The function must be available in game. The render from above (as it shows in races in 2D) should be available in livery design. Why should you go to all that external hassle because of a game flaw? ???

Good idea. But this is impossible

1. Optimal speed and memory of the game. The creators will not litter the game with a bunch of new mega-gigabytes, closer to powerful graphic editors. Due to group of fans of stylish and high quality liveries. But even if the number of aesthetes is 50%, it's unlikely that anything will change. Power of gadgets isn't endless, even with the current version of the game

I have a new gadget, bought five months ago. Today game froze twice, and on the third it drop away, a desktop appeared. This hasn't happened for a long time, probably two months. But today the game suddenly crashed. Now imagine the new version, with a bunch of gigabytes for improved editor

2. For most managers it's not important how beautiful their cars looks. Especially for veterans of the 2D era. Many even prefer to save tokens using a free template

Don't waste your time waiting for the improved livery editor, look here. Maybe you will find something interesting

They've already said they are looking at implementing my idea after reviewing that it's possible so your opinion is not required.

I think that you missed the point of original suggestion. They wanted to see how will their livery look like in 2D before the purchase (currently it is possible only after), that can be easily solved with putting 2D car decal on wall in livery editor.

This is not my opinion, but reality. But you keep waiting for them to implement your idea
