James Hunt in champions league elite. was 105% health earlier but isnt now.
But if my driver is level 11 and this driver level 12, why has my drivers (both of them) stats all dropped to 11 after the switch to new igp but this guy is still all 19?

Those stats weren't reduced to the driver level but the manager level

i have another question:

do drivers age?

Martin: Yes, they age by 1 year per 20 races. I know it's strange, as some guys can not age while they are teamless, but it's the only balanced way to do it. They are entered in to a cryogenic lab when they are jobless.

By the way, I've come up with some proposed changes to training in my new balancing suggestions thread.

No, this doesn't sound strange to me, as i understand the reason. If you would age by regular days at leagues with rare races the driver would litarally die old of age within a season.

So all the training I did for my driver before the switch over was for nothing! im a lower level than nearly everyone in my league (due to not playing this game from 2013 - 2016) so I'll never be able to compete. As other team's drivers age they can simply replace them with another high level high stat driver.
I cant train my drivers above what thay currently are = they will never be competitive
I cant get drivers that are highly rated enough to compete = I will never be competitive

I think this is quite absurd really.

In the old system if you could find a talented driver, then even at a low level eventually over time ud train him enough to be able to compete. But in this system I dont see how its even possible to compete with higher "level cap" players

I only started playing this game again about 2 months ago, but this whole new system makes me think whats the point.

That's the sort of thing we're working on addressing now, Paul. Thanks for the chat in your race just now, I had no idea you'd be in there when I joined but it was a good chance to talk.

If you have some suggestions about balancing Training I recommend going to the thread linked in my post above and giving feedback on some of the proposed ideas. Thanks!

I think training could do with a few more tweaks.

I had this in Pro:

After 3 races in Elite:

I know you are wanting to make it easier for Lower Level Managers to catch up to Higher Level Managers. It just seems to be a little too easy to train up a driver if you are a High Level Manager using a Low Level Driver.

As for the Training it's self:
Can you set it up, so that we can select a specific Skill/Attribute to train rather than a general area?
Giving us the power to create the driver we want rather than having everything equaling 20

Experience & Knowledge - should not be trainable driver should level these up on their own after every season or season and a half.
Morale - should only increase with the level of your facility (untrainable)
