what the fock is clearing a cache actually mean? as i have the same problem but have no com knowledge what so ever

The cache is basically data stored on your computer so that the next time you visit a website it loads faster, as that data doesn't have to be transferred again.

In most browsers the cache can be cleared by refreshing a page with CTRL+F5 (to reload all cached content on that page) or CTRL+SHIFT+DEL then selecting cached content to be cleared "for all time" (to be sure you clear it completely).

What kind of device / computer are you trying to run the race viewer on? Also, how much RAM (memory) does this device have?

Are you running other applications at the same time? Or many browser tabs? Try closing everything except the race viewer window before loading it up.

Could I recommend using the Opera browser and using the beta viewer,
I know for a fact that it runs on 2gb systems, it a little slow to load up but it does load up

http://www.opera.com
Feel free to enable Opera Turbo in the menu, very useful if you are using cheap and nasty broadband like me.

Opera Data savings and Turbo mode
We shrink the web content your device receives to a fraction of its original size. You get all the videos, photos and text that you normally would, but you eat up less data and load pages faster.

With data savings on your phone, you can browse longer without worrying about going over your data limit. If you're traveling, you can easily conserve your roaming data.

Or, if you're on your laptop, turn on turbo mode to speed up slow connections at the coffeehouse and load pages faster when there's too many people trying to connect to the Wi-Fi.

Hello I am new to the game, basically I have tried Microsoft edge windows 10, Internet Explorer, and Mozilla Firefox. None of these will run the match viewer, I have read all the posts and tried everything suggested to fix the problem but the problem still persists. I managed to get the thing running one time through firefox but after that I now get a out of memory error message in line 0 everytime I try to load it again. I have cleared the cache made sure all is updated, checked the about:config stuff and still no joy. Please help me fix the issue.

Hi Jack, could you answer all of the same questions from my post above? I've quoted them below.

Also, I notice in your list of browsers you did not list Opera. James suggested this can run the viewer in the browser on devices with low specs.

It's not necessarily about the hardware, it's how much RAM the browser software has available. It's software-limited rather than hardware-limited.

Try Opera as James has suggested above, as he claims it can run on systems with as little as 2GB of RAM. Make sure everything else is closed when you try to open it as well.

If it still doesn't work I'll pass your case on to the viewer developer who might be able to help. Other than that, maybe you'll need to wait for the apps in March on iOS / Android. Specs won't be an issue there.

I have tried Opera and i am afraid computer says no again. I get its not compatible with IGP then a error shortly after that.Yes please pass my case on it would be nice good to resolve the issue for others and myself. I have had issues in the past with browser games not many but a few which i manged to solve through a full factory reset of my CPU but that's a last resort to try. If we can not resolve i will be waiting patiently for march:)

Have you got your settings to the lowest quality setting, also have you tried to swap to the beta viewer?

What league are you in? Is there any other comments in your league that others can't load in, it may point to a specific issue with the races than an actual memory issue. It is one of the things I have been considering recently that it isn't actually memory related.

At what point does the OOM error turn up is it after connecting and downloading track resources? Or is it failing to launch altogether?

Thinking outside the box, I dont know if these are needed or not, but I have them on all my computers for play games.
Have you got Microsoft Visual C++ on your computer and the latest Directx end user runtime?

Directx https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/confirmation.aspx?id=35
C++ 2005 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=3387
C++ 2008 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=29
C++ 2010 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=5555
C++ 2012 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=30679
C++ 2013 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=40784
C++ 2015 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=48145
After installing any of the above, make sure you use windows update to get the latest security patches for them.

Windows 10 does not search for device drivers by default, you have to enable it, easiest way to do that is just run the Hardware & Device Fix it Tool that is in the Control Panel, to save you of searching the reg edit to find it.

If windows update cant find an up-to-date driver for your graphics card after you enable it to search for device drivers, try searching the manufactures web-page.

After you install the win 10 pro update, version 1607, your edge browser will work much better.

Thankyou Darren and James:) i have some good news i can now watch the viewer. I tried all your suggestions but they did not work sadly. I fixed it somehow by removing chrome then downloading it again, this seemed to sort out what ever was up before:) The Livery dose not work but at least i can do all else and watch the races. Im happy to leave it as it is until March when the Android app is out thankyou all for your help :)

Livery plug-in doesn't work on chrome/opera/edge (opera is chrome based platform) you need to use firefox or ie to run the livery plug-in.

Hi Joaquín, sorry about that, it was a mistake that a broken piece of code was on the site for a short time. It will work now. The apps were unaffected by this.
