If you think you are not going to reach the objectives then choose a sponsor with Max fixed income per race and Min bonus. it is posible to get £6 mil per race even if you come last. Cash in the tokens you get from sponsor each race. tokens alone are worth £3.45mil if you choose sponsor that gives 3 tokens per race.

New sponsor amounts are better. Both my teams would have made about one million on the last race if it weren't for headquarters costs.

We used to have 4 sponsors at 1.5 million each, now we have 2 sponsors at 1.6 (now 2.5) each, that still leaves us with -1M per race and no prize money... with all the extra investment in facilities such as manufacturing at 2.5M the money is going faster than it comes in. I still have plenty of resources from the rest of the seasons but if it continues like this it will not be good. Just food for thought.

Is Normal? NO and NO.
1. Financial is completely wrong.
2. My cars are now slow
3. I had to give away to good drivers
My balance was before + 60M and is now currently -5M. This is not normal.

Well lauri you have a level 18 cd and a level 16 driver, considering you are level 13 manager this is not normal either!
But back to your point....... how the hell did you lose 65M in 5 races?? Thats impossible!

AND THEN WHEN YOU CASH IN THE 2or3 TOKENS YOU ALSO GOT FROM SPONSORSHIP YOU WILL HAVE 1or2M PROFIT

I think it is possible to spend that unfortunately.

Once you broke lvl 10 we stopped building, now in the new game I find that my main team for example, I had 4 lvls of buildings to catch up on or something like that, and have spent vast amounts of money building and upgrading.

And now with the much needed improvements to how we level up, I find my main team is now a lvl 15 team, and I am spend a load more money again to lvl up facilities again.

It most certainly is going to be a balancing act, and I think its still might need some work. I am OK as most of my teams had over 500million coming into this game, so I can afford to burn some off while i get to grips.

But for new players, or players who didnt have the same amount of money, they can find themselves heavily in debt pretty quick, and now with no reset option to start again and learn from there mistakes.

All drivers and staff wages are according to team level meaning for level 10 team staff and drivers are level 10 wages.(more less).
Building cost is according to days per season (building we can upgrade within 17 days) with out any speed up.
Car costs are with out spending repairs every race but enough to keep it up.
No bonus income included as it is not 100% sure that we are going to get.
45 of 51 tokens used to keep cash positive.
So we can have positive economy even with staff and divers up to date.
Going to be hard if we have reserved Driver to train or driver to get from YDA. General in cases that we need Updates;)
Can we be competitive like this? I don't know yet;)

Just this season I am 88.4 mill down, I changed all my staff for cheaper, but still have the same drivers at the moment, Have done a lot of headquarters upgrading (26.5mill). So I'm hoping the deficit is smaller next season, (although I will have to leave for a short time as going to be away for 3 weeks). I've still got 300mill left, so should be able to survive for a few seasons yet.

What on earth are you people blowing your money on? At worst I lose a million before headquarter developments. I even have a reserve driver.

lol I'm blowing my money on new drivers/staff and headquarters. But other than that I'm making money.

To anyone who thinks I am lying in my previous post (Lauri), I have selected 2 appropriate sponsors that give me 3 tokens and £2.4 mil per race. Cash value of the 3 tokens is £3.45mil. Thats £5.85 mil. Thats the best part of £6 mil ! In addition I would get a further £0.996 mil if i achieve sponsor objectives. Thats more than enough to make a profit. (unless you pay out inflated wages!). I have changed my drivers brought in from previous gane and reduced wages bill by 70%. since previous drivers attributes were capped at 13, the new drivers, with lvl 13 attributes after a weeks training, are just as good as the old ones and cost a lot less.

That's if you're lucky enough to get drivers with the talent levelof the drivers that you had before

Allan, Most teams (including me) are spending their tokens on other things. They don't consider their finances to be positive if they have to use tokens to achieve that. With the new expedited xp rules any team that is significantly lower level than others in their league is leveling up faster than they can improve their headquarters or train their drivers. Thus they use tokens to speed up headquarters development or to heal their drivers so that they can improve their stats faster. If they have legacy drivers their stats improve as their level improves but their driver per race wages may be very high (sometimes over 2 million)

If they try to find new cheaper drivers they then have to improve their stats as I mentioned above. I had 250 tokens from my legacy account. I chose youth drivers because they are the cheapest. It cost about twenty tokens to get two talent 18 drivers with wages of about 315 thousand. My headquarters were level five or six at the changeover. My manager level was 9. I spent all but twenty of those tokens to improve my headquarters to match my level and heal my new drivers so that I could improve their stats.

You also have a advantage because you are in a league that only races three times per week. That story is for another thread.
I guess the point is that most people want to at least break even on races if they discount expenses like headquarters. And they don't want to spend tokens to just keep their head above water. They want to save them to buy a setup when they were distracted from the game and forgot to prepare, to look for good youth drivers, to speed up the development of a high talent youth driver, or to speed up headquarters development so that they can compete better with that higher level team in front of them.

Leslie, what you say is fair enough. I am only refering to the 3 tokens per race you get from sponsors. everyone is free to decide how they wish to spend those tokens. Part of managing a team is to ensure you dont bankrupt yourself. Personally I would ensure I made a profit each race and then spend that profit on drivers, headquarters etc. as I saw fit. Any tokens from other sources, such as purchased or from subs would also go towards tean development. Its just that some people want to spend more than they earn, then complain that they dont earn enough.
As to breaking even, before capital exp on stuff like headquarters, it is possible once people work out how.
Not sure what advantage you refer to for only racing 3 times a week, but if I was racing 7 days a week I would still make a profit each race, now that I have sorted my sponsors out.
( the only advantage to racing 3 times a week I can see is in training - more between each race)

NO I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW YOUVE MADE SUCH A LOSS! MY MAIN EXPENSE IS WAGES AND MY WAGES ARE SIMILAR IF NOT MORE THAN YOUR.
IF YOUR SPENDING BEYOND YOUR MEANS ON UPGRADING OR CONSTANTLY CHANGING DRIVERS OR IF YOU HAVE A WHOLE BUNCH OF RESERVE STAFF AND DRIVERS THEN THAT WOULD EXPLAIN THE LOSS BUT WOULD ALSO BE QUITE SILLY IN MY OPINION

In old iGP sponsors paid 6million cash per race.
New iGP sponsors pays the same between cash and tokens.
If the days of ppl having 500+ million profit is over then I for one say good, it was pointless anyways!
I had 60 million at changeover now I have 10million, but ive managed to cut my losses and MANAGE my team now so im happy enough with the finances.
