Thanks for the investigation, Jack. Appreciate the time you spent on this. It's of course not fun to have a race skipped when you were on the podium, but there are worse things in life ;-)

Thanks for being so understanding. The first thing I can see in my imagination when going through all the races that need skipping is all the people scratching their heads as to why their game is stuck. If I can offer any consolation, at least you're not in my shoes! :D
Today was perhaps the fastest we've ever grown in a day, so this almost certainly had something to do with that. It happened at a peak-traffic time on a record day of activity, but we'll find out all the details tomorrow. The server recovered after that brief hiccup and has been running fine since.

Hello, I've been having this same issue since yesterday.
We had the Bahrein race yesterday at 20:30 gmt +1, it worked at the start, but around lap 10 the game froze (the race viewer still worked, it was just the cars who wouldn't move), a minute later it just kept going at really high speed, like it was trying to recover the lost time and then worked ok.
But just a few laps later it froze again, this time didn't restart, and thinking it was a connection error from my side, I disconnected from the race and tried to reconnect, but it showed the "race has finished" message, it was weird, because there were almost another 10 laps to go.
It's now 11:45 and the game still shows the go to race message with Bahrein
I've talked with a friend that is also in the league, who was also in race when the game froze and described it the same way I experienced it
Thanks in advance, as I read above that the devs are already trying to solve the problem and I've got to say they created an amazing game
Sorry if the post is extremely large, but I thought it would be useful to say exactly what happened.
Btw, we had a similar issue two races ago, but that time it said "reconnecting (reason: 3)" and the game kept running an hour and a half later just where we left it

Hi, sorry to hear that. It should be fixed now and you have been given some Tokens to remedy the situation. The races needed to be skipped as they had become stuck in a glitched state. This happened to about 10 races from what I can see and we are continuing to investigate the reasons this can happen.
