Managers who leave a league during the mid-season break should not be penalized because they are not gaining anything. If they leave at the end of the season and move to a league that is let's say on race 12, then I think the following should occur based on 5 star CD and Design factory level 20:

Car Design should be that of start of Race 1

Design points allocated should be 20 points x 11 races = 220 points

This will not give any advantage to the player who has joined the new league, but will enable him/her to be able to compete at the same stage as they would if they were to have remained in their previous league. I agree to deter people moving league's during the season but people should not be penalized for moving at the end of a season.

I don't agree with the extra dp for joining mid-season, I think it should be Australia design... period. This would have two benefits

it would encourage managers to join a new league during the break rather than gatecrashing a league mid season

It would mean a manager joining mid season would be uncompetitive and would therefore have little influence over the established teams who are fighting for the championship.

Yes, I agree with Kevin here. Else a joining manager could then decide not to spend all the points and do research instead. In your example it would be too late for that as everyone should be pretty much maxed out the car on the important stuff but with lower level and/or earlier into the season it can be quite the bonus. Probably not lasting nearly enough to compensate for the 'lost' races if the others now their stuff but I doubt the old managers in the league would be that happy about it anyway.

I agree with this because all the in-actives take up space that other potential active drivers could use. This makes the game a lot better i'm glad that this has come into the game because you can't always rely on the host of the league to kick inactive players. But what if the host of the league is inactive will they get kicked. And do the host's of leagues still have the power to kick players beforehand of the auto kick for inactivity?

But what if the host of the league is inactive will they get kicked. And do the host's of leagues still have the power to kick players beforehand of the auto kick for inactivity?

Inactive managers were already kicked by the developers. And the host can still kick managers.

Good idea. I agree 30 days across the board is fine. People complaining about needing longer want an easy championship and should have no voice in this

I have an interesting question, what happens if a person from elite with over 30 days of inactivity gets demoted down to pro because they were too inactive to compete but believed they would be fine because the limit is 60 days, will they get kicked straight away? If so is that Intended? And if yes then maybe this should be made more clear

They would be kicked after relegation, yes. I'm not sure how to make that clearer.

I host a very active Elite league but over 90% of Rookies join up, race once and are never seen again.
I would propose kicking Rookies after 10 days as I manually do in my league.
I would even suggest you delete rookie accounts from the system after 30 days of inactivity

Guys, do **** and if you want an easy championship, play something else.
they complain that their league does not have people and they can not participate in the races, for want of this
because they do not plan to change the league, to another where they can compete and with active people.
or if they are administrators of your league, promote and send invitations for people to join.
I administer a league, which I will say.

provide them with a whatsapp group and discussion forum.

Year ago when auto-kick was introduced I was very disappointed because it affected my league for 2 seasons. Thanks to the managers we’ve get promotion and relegation zones back. I’m not web/app specialist and didn’t realize that the server is the clue. Now you explained that and for me it’s clear that it is very important solution for game stability and I’ll support that.

I just hope auto-kick won’t hurt my league in a long term. Currently pro tier was slashed from 26 to 17 players, so it was close to losing promotion and relegation zones, but luckily today season has ended and we have 3 teams more. It’s ok but I won’t say league is 100% safe. Only problem is pro tier. Maybe if 5 teams from rookie and 3 from pro would get promoted it would improve situation but idk. At this moment let’s see what will happen in the future.

One more thing. Is it possible to add info about auto-kick in activity tab in league management panel? Probably not every league host is aware of that and this information could be usefull

the auto-kick rule is heavily affecting promotion and relegation zones on tiers, forcing active player to be stucked in tiers after one or more seasons of vain playing efforts.

why don't review the policy when the "purge" can be applied?

it can be applied at the end of the season, or maybe twice, reducing the tollerance of the inactivity period too from 60-90 days down to 20-30 days, or maybe counted on a GP basis, this will prevent last-minute missing promotions ...

adding some kind of visible activity index for players, like the one for the host/league admin, this can help the newcomers choosing the right league, because players especially after some missing promotions due to a tier with not enough players to activate promotions and relegations cleaned-up by the "purge", maybe they can consider giving up ...

Because of this my friend has missed promotion from pro for 2 seasons running looks like hes gonna get promoted then ppl leave for being inactive so he misses out

Our league host is in pro and inactive for 55 days, means he will get kicked in 5 days. What happens then? Will we be without host or will the game automatically assign another host? Or will he not be kicked because he's a host?
(I know we can ask to change the host to someone else, but just wondering what will happen if we do nothing)

So the answer seems to be: he gets kicked but is still the host of the league :)
Guess we'll need to start finding another volunteer.
