The great promotion debacle...

Yes Andrew, & My league had that for around 10 seasons and just 1 guy dominated pretty much every season. If you don't have promotion, it would take months for new guys to have a chance at winning and enjoy the game.

What about, as a compromise, giving admins the ability to select promotion/relegation between each tier separately?  They could allow promotions/relegations between Rookie & pro and disallow it between Pro & Elite, until their league was full enough.
And/or how about they can select the number of teams to promote/relegate between each tier?

I absolutely support giving league hosts the ability to separate promotion/relegation among tiers (allowing movement between Rookie and Pro and locking Elite until Pro is sufficiently populated). As it is now if you're in Elite it can be very difficult to find populated leagues except for a certain few, and only then if the schedule fits yours. As it is, I'm actually going to be shutting this account down in a couple of weeks (the second of my three) simply because I can't find a league that suits my preferences anymore and is populated.

I shut my first team down in October when I couldn't find a league that suited me, and now I'm facing the same issue with this team. At least I'm still enjoying racing with my third team and it doesn't look like that's going to change any time soon.

Well, it's sad but it seems i'm not left with much choice. :-(
I've cancelled my subscription, and will stop running this team at the end of the current season.
I'm debating weather to start another team as Rookie or not, mabee it's better to wait and see.
