Hi all,
Big updates always create new opportunities and possibilities to move in new directions. One such change is that I will be overseeing community management and support for now.

The iGP Manager 2026 update is an opportunity to review how everything is done and to better connect with our community. I want to work with you to create an atmosphere where you feel heard and represented in the development decisions we take. For now, this means the connection between development and community is 1:1. Direct. Previously, information was filtered before it would reach me, and while this was good for reducing distractions, it left me buried in dev and disconnected from our wonderful community.

I understand the general consensus, among hardcore managers, is that development has not focused on your priorities in recent years. That is changing with iGP Manager 2026. We have put many of your concerns on the agenda, including tyre physics, pit lane glitches and more. Casual managers will find plenty to enjoy in the 2026 update too. New content, features, gameplay and significant improvements to UI/UX. It is slightly surreal for me whenever I open the live version of the game, seeing how far we've come in the new 2026 edition. It really is one of the biggest improvements we've ever done, so I'm excited to share that with you soon. Big news will arrive this November.

In the meantime, if you have any suggestions or feedback on how we handle community management, I'm open to hearing it in this thread. Now is the time to make your voice heard, because those changes will be implemented now.

So you are adopting the Elon Musk strategy of going direct to the consumer...I like it.

You can't propose removing 2D and comment so casually... many veteran players only play in 2D, 3D is unmanageable... not to mention the number of devices where 3D doesn't run smoothly, and therefore, many players would leave.

We are keeping 2D and 3D. If anything, we want to expand in to more mediums in future!

For now, we're doing our best to maintain both with the coming updates. The debate always happens where the people who only play in 2D say 3D isn't needed and vice versa, but the reality is the majority of players are in 3D today. The 2026 update also includes a top-down view in 3D, think of it like a more zoomed in version of 2D.

Skills could also decrease when players stop racing, so the extra XP and engine points can actually be used, giving purpose to boosts or point purchases.

That is basically where we're going. The tests we're running at the moment are all about temperature management and balancing. There's a new tyre model with the update that is being rapidly developed. It was a late addition, but I'm giving it a go!

The current progression from level 1 to 30 is too slow. Progression shouldn’t be the bottleneck. Instead, the wear of parts, engines, and driver skills should be faster. When players are competitive (level 30), they’re more willing to spend small amounts to stay at the top. This keeps it pay to play, not pay to win.

With the 2026 update, there are significant changes to how levels work, particularly for drivers and staff, which should close the gaps in skill while opening up more progression in HQ and gameplay.

It would also be great to have a yearly system where players submit technical ideas, the staff selects feasible upgrades, and the community votes on what should be implemented.

That's a nice way to organise the suggestions forum, actually. It's very time consuming to read all the suggestions, so I really like this idea. It would allow the community to sort their favourite ideas to the top before we read through them all.

Lastly, it would be much better to have a single manager account with multiple drivers for different championships, instead of multiple accounts.

I'm starting to get tired of saying it... but it's in iGP Manager 2026!😅

Hi Jack, in PC Launcher app most of the time the steering wheel does not turn while you are cornering and it does not become a realistic simulation unlike the mobile app which has a real first person view.

I would counter that the game defaults to 3d on initial install. And I'm not really sure most new players even know that 2d exists as an option until they go deeper into the game. So you have a lot of newer managers and probably inactive accounts that are sitting with 3d viewer enabled as an option.

And I obviously don't have the data in front of me, but player engagement and retention has seemingly declined as a result. As far as race management and control, I find 3d as more of a handicap. You just don't see enough of the field to be able to manage properly.

Hi Jack, keep improving the game. Check out my options and improvements for the game., regenerative braking would also be interesting. Also, an option to add to the league rules: disabling DRS. At least here in my league, many managers don't like DRS very much. It would be interesting to have this option in the league. Regarding the chassis, if there was the option to choose 3 or 4 types of chassis: for example: Chassis Development for the Next Season
- Advance Planning: During the current season, you can invest in research and development for the next season's car, including the chassis.
- Design Center: The game has an area dedicated to car design, where you can choose between different design philosophies, such as focusing on speed, reliability, or fuel economy.
- Strategic Impact: The developed chassis directly influences the car's performance in the following season, affecting attributes such as grip, acceleration, and efficiency.

Fact is, you promise stuff here for your life and none of it will come true. how much longer are you trying to lure us? non of you guys is good enough to make this game as it should be. you continiously keep destroying it. There went so much nonsense and stupidity into this game.
No matter what you promise... no on is believeing you. 3 races to go and thats it for me.
and the rst of the very good managers will retire soon too. Sell you game to skilled label and give a chance. But in your hands its a loosing situation. Stop lying to yourself and phace the truth!

My league is 2-car league, i got P2 and P3 last race while on 3D app and being in-car. (switching back and forth between the 2 cars) The mini-map is at the top of the screen, timing screen is easy to access. No issue with knowing where everyone was. This is on browser though on PC so i think to begin with people should clarify what they are actually playing on. I've not had iGP on Mobile for years for a reason lol.

In the past I made some suggestions for the game and I’d like to bring them to your attention:

Add a season pass - This is essentially there, we will have a new subscription with UI / UX perks.

Daily challenges - Interesting idea, I think it needs more thought before we could implement it. A system which seems simple on the surface can be quite complex underneath.

Bring back parts from sprints - We can see everyone at higher levels especially have huge excesses of parts. With the HQ, daily rewards and more are there not enough parts already? Agreed about incentives to do sprints though, there should be more.

Next season design overview - This should be easy to add, I will add it.

Set preferred camera view - I will ask the viewer developers about this.

Other options to set car setup - In iGP Manager 2026 there are sliders and you can tap anywhere to adjust the value straight to another point.

regenerative braking would also be interesting. Also, an option to add to the league rules: disabling DRS. At least here in my league, many managers don't like DRS very much. It would be interesting to have this option in the league.

Regen braking was a feature in the past and what we saw was everyone would use boost at the same points (much like drivers do IRL, you had to use it on the big straights etc.). It took all strategy away, which is why we have the current system. We're introducing a slight recharge per lap but without returning to that old issue where you had to deploy it every lap.

One thought that’s been flying around for can’t remember how long is the fact that there’s no incentive to go into 2-car leagues - that’s the one thing I haven’t tried yet and was thinking of, but took a break from active racing until things start improving in what I feel would be a positive direction. Are there any plans to tweak the financial challenges of those leagues?

While this is true for single car leagues, I’m not sure the same can be said for 2 car leagues

One thought that’s been flying around for can’t remember how long is the fact that there’s no incentive to go into 2-car leagues - that’s the one thing I haven’t tried yet and was thinking of, but took a break from active racing until things start improving in what I feel would be a positive direction. Are there any plans to tweak the financial challenges of those leagues?

It’s a little out of scope but:

2 car leagues isn’t as straight forward as one might think. I’d say it’s more challenging than 1 car leagues and more rewarding. Managing 2 cars in the race isn’t easy and you need to use both cars strategically to take the win. Give it a try

Thanks for taking your time and considering all suggestions. About the parts in sprint races: it’s more about giving the incentive to take part in sprint races than to get parts. I just thought parts might be a good incentive, especially for lower level players, but if you come up with something better it’s also great.

I think, its very good for all of us, that Jack is seeking contact with us and that we have an open dialogue now.

But i dont think, we should now throw tons of new suggestions at him.

Just let us be patient and wait for the new update and then we can still discuss any possible improvements.

There was concern in the past about spam, especially with new accounts. We get a lot of bots in the forum too posting links and weird stuff that the moderators have to clean up regularly.

I think it's worth enabling though, so I will enable chat and let's see how it goes. I've wanted to do this for a while too.

I like the idea of having this feature, but it's not on the roadmap currently. I'll make a note of it. It is actually very easy to build technically, some method for Account A to have access to run Account B for a time. The only concern I have is sometimes friends fall out and do silly things, then the next thing we'll be getting is support requests about "what my friend did while they had my account". I think to save us headaches, we would have to give the users full responsibility for what their friends do when they hand over temporary access like that. I could build it in a way that requires no password sharing or anything sensitive, just a GUI handshake on both sides where one gives access and the other accepts it, a bit like screen sharing tools.

This is still slightly up in the air, but I am debating whether to make 2 car leagues the default in the new system. Yes, there are plans to balance it, we're going to be enforcing multipliers on salaries and parts so that 1-car and 2-car leagues are effectively balanced after the update.

I have only one issue... Bring back the daily ad videos.

Especially for car parts consumption in 2 cars leagues AND even more importanh for managers, which start to develop their own engine, you need to have these videos

If you decide to starr producing your own engine it costs 100 token plus 720 token to maximize your engine on all tracks, thats simply not realistic.

I have only one issue... Bring back the daily ad videos.

We want to come up with a new system that isn't full of junk ads that crash the app or have those annoying 1-2min lengths and then hide the x in a weird spot and force you to open the link. It will take some time but I think it'll be worth it.

The marketplace for ads from third-party providers at the moment is terrible and practices seem to be getting worse.
