It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for! We’re very happy to announce that the iGP Manager apps will be launching on iOS and Android on March 22nd. Those following us on Facebook and Twitter will know this already from our '10 days to Bwoah' announcement, but we have yet more news to announce here today.

Translations announcement

With just 8 days to launch, we’re pleased to announce that iGP Manager has also been translated into 8 new languages (well okay, 10 if you count regional versions!). Each will be released with the app launch. More will be added in future, but for now the supported languages will be:

  • English
  • Spanish (European)
  • Spanish (Latin)
  • Portuguese (European)
  • Portuguese (Latin)
  • Italian
  • French
  • German
  • Dutch
  • Russian
  • Norwegian (Bokmål)

What's next?

Because of the ambitious scale of this project relative to the small size of our team, some features will arrive in updates post-launch. Items which will not be in the first version of the app but which will come in later updates include a new livery editor and a casual race system. When it is finished, the new livery editor will no longer require the ‘Unity Web Player’ plugin for browsers, enabling everyone to edit their livery in the app or the browser. We are also quite a way off from finishing the casual race system, where players can race between league events at any time.

That said, we expect to be fully occupied with support for the app in the first couple of months after launch, given that it will be available for download on over 13,000 different devices. The biggest ‘test’ of a new game is always the public launch, no matter how much testing is done in private. We aim to resume work on the updates and new features once we’re satisfied that we’ve got the best compatibility and stability on the widest number of devices that we can achieve.

We don’t often ask, but we’d appreciate if you could spread the word about this launch. We’ve put our all in to delivering this app for you, and the best way to allow us to keep doing that is to tell anyone that might be interested in playing iGP Manager about what we’re doing. Thanks to everyone for your continued support.

It's a free app, just like the website, and it utilises your web account. You'll be carrying on the same leagues and races, but it will all be portable, and you can switch between all platforms for free.

Andrey - Have you tried lowering the graphics quality in Settings? Try setting it to "Very low" here: https://igpmanager.com/app/p=settings. Also, if you have a smartphone or tablet you won't need to use the computer anymore.

Roberto - We can't support WP at this time because the plugins we use do not support it. Sorry, that is out of our hands.

It would be quite good if support of computers with less than with 4 gigabytes of random access memory becomes possible. At me on the working computer of 2 GB of the RAM, and I can't observe a live broadcast of a race.
