Solution 1 - Get our workaround with a cache clear
- Click on your profile photo and then 'Settings' in-game (or click here and open this link in the iGP Manager app)
- Click 'Clear cache' and confirm with the green checkmark
- Restart the iGP Manager app
This workaround has evolved in to a comprehensive solution for any UI scaling issues which should work across all devices. After earlier attempts proved less consistent, the first thoroughly tested / publicly confirmed and consistent solution was eventually rolled out on 19th March 2022. It's worth reiterating that although we solved this problem, we did not introduce it, it was introduced by an Android Webview update. That is why we're calling it a workaround and not a fix. We had to work around the incorrect behaviour coming from an android webview update.
Solution 2 - Revert to an older webview version
This is known to work for everyone who has tried it, but it means using an out-of-date version of Android webview.
1. Open Google Play
2. In the search box type "Android System Webview".
3. Click on the one that shows with "Installed" below the name.
4. Click on "Uninstall".
Solution 3 - Adjust your OS zoom settings
If you're still experiencing issues after trying the two solutions above, then reduce display zoom and/or font size until the game looks as expected. Read a guide for these settings here.
Solution 4 - Use a web browser
If for any reason no solutions are working, another option is to use a browser (such as firefox, opera mobile or chrome) to set up for races and manage your team. Go to igpmanager.com in a browser and click "Play now". When it is race time you can still open the app and click the "Race" buttons. They will be visible and functional on the home page. The race viewer itself should not have any scaling issues, even if the rest of the game is scaled incorrectly in the app.
