my 2d is not working 4 min before the race. Connection Issues 

Ditto. No ones is working, nor is 1D. This is the problem I reported last night I think Nico. I just got prompted to update to Java 7 at work aswell and now nothing works. It doesn't even say connecting, it's just got black boxes where the controls should be in 1D and 2D just says Connecting...

Out of curiosity Daniel and Stuart, have you both got the new java update or is yours playing up on the old java aswell?

Yes I posted this bug last night when I updated to version 7 but Nico told me his was working fine. My thread is here:

I just tried to load mine to test it and mine is not connectng either. I am fully updated on Java, running firefox on OSX 10.8.1  It never works for me on Safari (live timing does, but not 2d)

Just tried Java 1.6 update 32.  Not working either.  Obviously something else is causing this issue.

Well either way I've been having this problem since last night, so it must be something to do with the update. Mine stopped working the second I installed the version 7.

yeah, same here. Is a shame, my drivers finally qualified well!

Mine worked fine earlier today with the update. Now it's just hanging at the connecting screen.

Very annouying.  These issues should not be happening, especially with a pay service, we are still beta testing really.

Hmm, well problems are going to occure with anything really, it's just a shame that there is no reversal system for races in this game - Once you're screwed that's it, no going back lol.

I understand issues happen, but there just seems to happen too much for my liking
