Please post your feedback on the new tyres here, if you think we can improve the balance of the compounds.

If you have any data that can help make your point more clearly, please link to your race results so we can analyse the data and see for ourselves. Thanks!

Is your viewer showing the wrong tyres?

If for any reason you see Intermediate tyres instead of Medium tyres, or Wet tyres instead of Hard tyres, you are using an old cached version of the viewer. The easiest way to tell this is whether the tyre icons in the live timing are round or square. If your icons are round then your viewer is out of date, if they are square then you are up to date.

Its all broken, mediums seem to have become inters, hards are full wet, softs are showing as hards, and the setups are all wrong. You cannot select the medium or super soft within the race either, can we get all the races reset please.

Jack, at Everyday iGP we all seem to have the wrong tyres compared to the setups.

Those who picked soft got hard, the ones picking medium have intermediate and those picking hard have full wet tyres.

And think we might want a reset. :)

Edit: what Andy said. :D

My strategy was to start on medium tires, instead I started on intermediate tires which were red and overheated.

It's clear that you are running old viewer versions from the screenshot. Please clear your Java cache immediately and reload the viewer.

The simulation is not incorrect, you are running an old version of the viewer, which is showing the old tyres instead of the new ones. If you update your viewer (by clearing the java cache) it will display the correct tyres and offer more options in the strategy dialog.

We will make it force the viewer to update shortly. This should have happened already. The glitch is that your viewer has not updated, it is not that the simulation is broken or that you are actually using the tyres it says you are using.

Yeah same here... Was meant to start on Hards and it started on Wets...
In race its Cloudy 26.0C no rain and wets and intermediate are as quick as hards...and tyre wear is far higher on hards than wets...

Reset your Java cache, guide added to the original post. We are going to be forcing the update to occur without requiring any manual action shortly, which should have been happening already, but wasn't.

It has been brought to our attention that the 2D is working just fine, but live timing is not un-caching the older version of the viewer. We are working on a fix for this right now. I will update you when the free viewer / live timing is updated. Subscribers are not having any issues, 2D is working fine.

Until then, anyone using this can consider intermediate tyres to be Medium tyres and Wet (Full) tyres are actually Hard tyres. We will get a new version of the live timing online ASAP to correct this.

For me (in live timing), Medium and Super Soft doesn't appear, and when I put the tyre compound, work fine (get I i want) BUT, the temperature off the tyres are wrong, it start with W in optimal temperature, OK, as you said.. then I change to Inters, and they were burned, as I said before. And now I'm on Hards, and they start blue.. so... I don't know.... Now it's sunny, but my Hards al slower than Inters, and que Wet are de fasters..... ?????? (I've cleared my Java cache and nothing happen)

This is the bug that has been highlighted. Until this is fixed you can think of the tyres as the following: Soft = Super Soft, Hard = Soft, Intermediate = Medium, Full Wet = Hard. This is not ideal, but it is the only option until this issue is resolved.

Until then, we may open access to 2D for everyone within the next hour or so as a temporary solution.

This is the bug that has been highlighted. In the free viewer / live timing the cache is not clearing, the tyres are not updating. This is rather embarassing to say, but until the new version is uploaded you will have to consider them as the following: Soft = Super Soft, Hard = Soft, Intermediate = Medium, Full wet = Hard. What it says and what they are are not right in the free version currently. In 2D the correct values are showing. I expect the new version to be uploaded within 15 minutes.

So... no rain tyres? I have an other problem now.. I clear cache again and restart browser, and now I CAN'T open the live timing :s "Error" "RasterFormatException" "(x + width) is outside raster" it said...
