That I am going to say might be very stupid as I don't know how this things work but I'm going to say it anyway. Would there be a way to make sure the link would be safe and clickable by using the copy button on the top right of the screen which copies url only from the forum, I assume, and adding some sort of verification (obviously it would need a system that would either not permit the edit of that link or after the edit it would lose its verification symbol)
I think that suggestion would at least solve trying to link forum posts to the league wall
Sorry, but there are 500k leagues in the game. Yes, some of them are inactive, but it's a lot of work to be done manually or too time consuming to design said verification system, specially for a small studio like iGP's ?
About the topic, if having copyable text strings (not hyperlinks) are the problem, what impedes a host/members to copy this same text from the league description and posting it on the league wall for everyone in the league to see and access as they wish? Wouldn't it have the same effect security-wise?
Btw, I'm not saying you need to remove the copyable texts from the wall ? Just asking why there's a difference between text strings separated by a few centimeters on screen, and it's quite nice, and clean, to have only iGP's hyperlinks working on the league wall ?
I just can't get my mind around the league description problem ?
