Is This a Fair Ban?

Seems very unfair from what I have read Jordan :/ On the positive though, you no longer are in a league with a poor sportsman like the said host.

Leagues can be compared to a big batch of eggs! :-D Most are great, but unfortunately a few are bad eggs!

Maybe I misinterpreted it but I thought it they where friends IRL (It is a private league not open for the public), He got the driver and raced the driver last season. From what I understand, there was a patch recently so you can no longer buy that high level drivers, so the owner changed the rules and forbid the use of such drivers. This was ignored and the OP still raced with him, hence he was kicked. 

I don't see what's unfair about it? Are you saying you are never allowed to change the rules in your league? And what should you do if people ignore it, just let it be? Yeah ok..

Maybe I misunderstood something here because you all seem to think it is unfair. Anyway, I didn't really take a side if it was fair or not, but surely you should be able to make up the rules for your own league. If I run a league and tell everyone that we are not allowed to run soft or medium tyres, what should I do if people don't follow it? Especially if I have a private league..


EDIT: Okay I went back and read the start of this thread again, In my opinion the owner is perhaps a jerk (we only heard one side of the story), but I still think he should be able to make up his own rules, especially since the league is private.

The question that will sway me over is; Did he get a warning/notice and ignored it before being kicked, or was he kicked without any prior communication about it? /EDIT

Jordan,why don’t you create your own league, during your no player fase, you will get a lot of money and tokens and xp, and you will be able to create your own rules against unfair ban!!

Chris there was no warning to anything as soon as we began the new season after the HOST had won the previous championship by over 100 points he makes me change it even though I still probably won’t be competitive with him.

Just wondering Connor if you have an update yet?

If he just kicked you out of the blue and then told you the reason afterwards, he indeed shouldn't be running a league. Are you friends in real life?

@Chris he told me to get rid of the driver before we started the new season and i refused because i spent tokens and money on him i am not going to sell him or waste him. yes we are mates in real life but he still feels like its cheating. (he ended up winning the first race of the season by 30 seconds because i eventually gave in for that single race. he got the 1-2 and i left because of how childish he is.

Okay, then I  sympathise with you both. You don't want to lose everything you spent on that driver and he want to race on equal terms. It is a crap situation i guess :P 

Why don't you ask him to cover what you spent on that driver and then you  can get rid of him? Would that be fair for both of you?

Anyway, are you from Italy? It is a national sin to have a Vettel picture instead of a Rossi picture :D

Do you have anything against Ferrari, Italy's legendary car manufacturer and Formula 1 racing team? 


Besides you can't exchange tokens/cash between players in iGP. So there's no possibility for his ex-host to repay him. And I would also keep such a high talented driver. You can still have him as a reserve driver and train him, if you have enough money for that or as Jordan did, go to another league and use his driver as a main one. 

I hope I won't get a penalty for going a bit off topic here.

No not at all, I love Ferrari, but even Ferrari and Ducati together are nothing next to Rossi :P

They are friends in real life, it wouldn't really be difficult to sort out outside the game.

The game for us is a bit of fun sand not to be rude he is a tight a*s so that won’t be happening 

I’m not the biggest motogp fan but if I had to pick a rider it’s 100% Rossi. Mainly a Ferrari fan. :)

Rossi is truly Moto GP's greatest legend, just like Schumacher is in Formula 1.
