When you say inactive players...
Do you mean those whom have not been on for both setup and races for more than 2 days, or, just anybody whom does not attend the race?

If they set up for the race, they are NOT inactive in my opinion and they deserve to get the results, that should be a few places lower than they would expect, in that case.
If they are authentically inactive, then they should all be retiring with suspension failure by race 3 or 4 and ultimate positions should be maintained for those whom are active IN THE GAME in general...

Maybe you should ask your host about this and see if he can be more stringent with those who only set up and do not attend...

I’m just on about the ones that aren’t at the race. I just don’t get them using kers. It very rarely helps them anyway. They could be sat behind someone about to get drs and then they kers past. The only thing the automatic kersing does is annoy the people that are at the race.
I’m not saying that they should be kicked out the league etc, just don’t think the kers should be done automatically. 
Surely it should be down to the league host whether this happens or not, if you don’t agree with the league host, you can always leave then

yea have to agree, not just the 3rd lap KERS blast for no reason but the other aspects of offline AI cars boosting in front and holding you up and then boosting away just before the DRS zone, or boosting in front of your rival before the DRS zone. It needs a true detection zone so once in it ya don't waste boost chasing them thinking your close enough to get DRS and then not get it at all.  No need for AI backmarkers doing this nonsense with no gain for themselves. It does at times seem like there is something else going with alt accounts with this nonsense.

That said, there are a few times where the advantage and race win was from using the boost up early rather than holding on to it at the end.. if everyone in the league holds it till the end and that's the way everyone in the league has done it season after season then ya probably aint going to find out otherwise. 

So basically you’re saying that you win races when you’re not there and that it is down to the automatic kersing?


I can assure you that if I’m not at the race, I won’t be scoring any points and it won’t matter whether my Bot used all their kers or none of it ?

So let me summarize: you would like the league host to have an option to make offline players not competitive?


Cause i for one would not take your option. If, for some reason or another, you cant attend the race, you would automaticaly lose a lot of points.

This means, should there be a power or network outage, bye bye season.

That’s the whole point, offline players aren’t competitive with or without automatic kers. I don’t know how many points you get if you’re not there, but in the league I’m in it is nil, nada, nothing, zero, etc etc. 

Then why are you moaning about them using kers? If they’re not competitive and you know when they will kers, how are they a nuissance?  Gotta use them to your advantage.

Do you ever get that feeling that you’re going round in circles? I think I’ve explained it the best I can, and made it perfectly clear how they annoy me.

Yes, they can be annoying.  I don't disagree with that sentiment.  But the fact is that others in your league seem to be using the incumberance to get an advantage over you and you seem not to know how to take that advantage, yourself.


This thread has been rejected by the powers that be, so you will have use those backmarkers to YOUR advantage for the foreseeable future.

Point completely missed. I’m not losing out anymore than any others are, I just rather racing results be decided on who was better than having something like bots ruining it for people

As per my original point, the same A.I. Kers'd past me 3 times tonight and totally wrecked my race, didn't even score a point from P10, might as well talk to the wall.

Seriously, you got passed 3 times by inactive drivers! ??????

Maybe you need to look at how you play this game, or perhaps its time to try a less competitive league.

Very easy when it’s racing at Italy and the train is about 20 car strong. You wouldn’t know much about that as I see your league only has 10 cars in it......bet that’s fun! Feel free to join the league, if you’re that confident, I think I know where my money would be!

Lol maybe he misunderstood and thought he meant ‘lapped’... He could have overlooked the part where boost was mentioned. Some folks don’t read the whole post properly.

When you are in a competitive league, it can be a real challenge.


Can managers race and adapt to it, for sure. Should they have to if something else can be done about it, I think not.

I don’t think he really understands that though. Bots aren’t the problem, it’s the automatic kersing. Simple to make it up to the league manager, then if you don’t agree with them, you find another league. “Slow cars” league has got loads of spaces ?

He can’t even understand that no Rookies WANT to join a 3 day league... but he’ll “moan” til the cows come home that iT’s tHe fiLtEr tHaTs sTuPiD?‍♂️
