Blue flags aren’t needed, it is usually pretty  easy to get past a lapped car, if you’re stuck behind one, boost or wait for DRS

DRS was disabled.

Blue flags exist in F1 to avoid backmarkers changing the race result, which in my case they did.
We NEED blue flags

I don't see the need I'm sorry, overtaking is pretty simple and easy

Really? I'll look at you in the rain when you drain your battery, or lock it up, and lose your victory, or podium

Are you serious? In rain races clean air is the key to victory, so I’ll look at you when you save all your battery and don’t finish well, Blue flags aren’t needed if you use your boost correctly or change your PL, simple as that.

Actually, using a little boost to overtake slower cars in the wet isn't that bad, it also counts in the dry with DRS, you have to think about what you will gain, not just what you will lose

Backmarkers are part of the game, for good or bad. An option to turn of backmarker DRS would be appreciated but not removing their effect altogether

lapped cars are already slow per se. if you struggle to get past them then you don't need blue flags, you just need to git gud lol  (if anything i'd suggest a PL0 for your own drivers so that they don't decide to overtake a lapped car right before the DRS zone, now THAT's annoying)

Lapped cars shouldn't be changing the race result like they did to my race, therefore we need blue flags. The top runners and the backmarkers are all running a different race. You are all saying we don't need it because you don't wanna get lapped yourself.

What do you mean? Are you implying that we don’t want blue flags cause we don’t want to get lapped, cause if you’re I’m never in that position, I just think Blue flags are an extra mechanic that isn’t needed and will add more bugs to the game.

Why would it add bugs. A car is within one second to lap you, you move over to the side, and let the car through

Most of the updates in this game add bugs, if this is added, there would be a bug where if you're racing someone for position, they would just let you by.

Dear colleagues, in any case, the developers will not add flags, either yellow or green, or even blue, since such an event was, the chance that they will return to it is very small, at least less than 1%

I understand yellows, but blue flags are a vital component of racing

In my opinion, this should not happen, at maximum dirty air produced by lapped cars could be lowered

Considering how the game has progressed I say its probably quite difficult and most certainly cause a bug

As well as yellow, green, and many other flags, it makes no sense to add only blue, and since (I repeat again) they have already added this, and then through a group of not very intelligent people, but very active, they removed them, together with SC and VSC so as a result, shouting about flags makes no sense

The yellow stuff did change the he races, blues would avoid the race being unfairly changed. Therefore WE NEED BLUES

Your logic is kinda flawed and i could use the same "arguments" against you.

Luca
Lapped cars shouldn't be changing the race result like they did to my race, therefore we need blue flags.

Managers should be expected to be aware of the situation they're in within the race (such as using KERS when needed and IF needed), therefore we don't need blue flags

Luca

i don't really like boasting but since you're lvl 9 i don't think you should be using a logical fallacy that involves the concept of getting lapped

Luca

The race wouldn't have been "unfairly changed" (lol) if you had used 2% of your KERS, therefore we don't need blues.

Anyway imho devs have too many stuff to focus on right now, so i don't think they should focus on something meaningless that might potentially cause even more bugs.

PS: your race wasn't unfairly changed (this concept of "unfairly changed races" is kinda laughable), you just needed to use 2-3% of KERS to get rid of the lapped cars IF you saw that you were losing too much time. Hopefully next time you're in that situation in a race you'll react differently. People are able to improve after recognizing their own mistakes afterall.

PS2: i think there are better ways to argue for blue flags other than "i ruined my own race and i have to blame the game, pls change the game!!1!"

tl;dr: git gud

Edit: i personally don't feel like lapped cars are *that bad* (just from my pov) but as Titan mentioned, lowering the dirty air that comes from lapped cars during wet races may do the trick, and you wouldn't need flags for that. That can be a good solution if it's possible to implement it

What if I'm not there, I'm not able to get past and my race would be ruined with no chance to fix it, or I had no KERS. You say my arguement is flawed, yours is unfortunately more flawed than mine. Its really a simple fix. Why don't you want blue flags if you dont need to "Git gud".

PS. that "git gud" comment is unbelievably ignorant
