Then it never happened. Simple as that. Even with this video your point is NOT clear. Lapped cars are already slow as you are closing on them. But if you're that bad of course you are going to cry about it. Just adapt to the game and learn how to play p-r-o-p-e-r-l-y. I guess you know spelling huh?

It did happen. Again, I wasn't there. Please, lets keep this on topic. Why would I lie to get blue flags?

Lie?? I never said anything about you lying LOL. The fact that you couldn't overtake a lapped car(which is slower than you because you're closing in to him) means you should have used KERS. That's what KERS is all about..... Learn what KERS/DRS and all those things are and then make a ''complaint''. Literally this recommendation of Blue Flag is one of the worst recommendations I've ever seen

OMG, read the thread, I wasn't there to use KERS in the first place

Well then get good. Tough luck. There is nothing that can be done about it. Make a better car. Get better CD and TD so you aren't going to be stuck behind lapped cars. If you use your design points in a wrong way then it's your fault that your car couldn't overtake

Worst than this idea? :D

DRS in wet races

it's unfortunate that we don't have footage, but i did a little research and i can conclude the following (here's the link of the race if anyone's curious):
https://igpmanager.com/app/d=result&id=43393467&tab=race

First of all you finished 11 seconds behind P3, that's not even close to a podium lel, let me doubt that the blue flags would have helped you
Secondly, the top 3 stayed on a rain tyre compound (Inters/Inters being the better strat apparently) for the whole race except for the last 3-4 laps, which makes me believe that the water height during the race stayed between 0.1-3.5mm for at least 30 laps. Meanwhile you switched to Medium tyres after lap 22/36, and then proceeded to lose like 3-4 seconds per lap until lap ~30-31 when the track probably dried.
All i can say is that it's obvious that you were on the wrong tyre compound for an important part of the race, and that the reason why it took you that much to overtake that lapped car is because obviously Medium tyres aren't supposed to work in the wet (just look at people's reactions when you said that it took you 2 laps to overtake a lapped car, no one's ever encountered that lmao).
Conclusion: research better the way that wet tyres work (water height ranges etc), and don't blame the game or lapped cars for your own mistakes. You won't need blue flags if you're using wet tires... in a wet track

How can I get good when I wasn't even there. My car is one of the best in the league, and my CD and TD are fine. I use my DP on performance. It was the lack of blues not the car that was the problem. Please don't make silly assumptions.

This was before the rain hit, and we were both on the same tires, so it wasn't the weather that was the issue

Conclusion: research better into the weather at the specific time, and don't make silly assumptions.

Now can we please focus on the suggestion, and making an agreement. Please use VALID suggestions not "My opinion is that blue flags are not needed".

My suggestion is, make it an option for each league. That is the perfect way for everyone to get what they want, don't you think

Overtaking has become more difficult, but I don’t believe blue flags are a solution. The solution is the devs looking into overtaking (which they are doing now) and reverting to how it was before. If that is solved, blue flags are not needed

Programming blue flags would take up a lot more dev time which can be better spent on different things

Thanks for contributing something to the discussion. However why would blue flags decrease overtaking?
