What if I'm not there, I'm not able to get past and my race would be ruined with no chance to fix it, or I had no KERS.

if you're not there, then the AI will manage your car, so i don't think you should worry about it (plus hey the AI knows how to use KERS!).
if you have no KERS left and people behind you manage to overtake you because they had more KERS than you then you should have a better KERS management duh.

Luca

Its really a simple fix. Why don't you want blue flags if you dont need to "Git gud".

"Just like code lmao it's so simple".

Being faster and using 2% of your KERS to overtake lapped cars if your car is unbelievably slow is also a simple fix, and you don't have to bother the devs for that you know. And as i said before if the general sentiment is that dirty air from them is really that huge, then toning it down a bit would be a good fix; plus you wouldn't need to create a whole new system with flags that may cause new bugs to the game

Luca

PS. that "git gud" comment is unbelievably ignorant

Considering how you had lots of KERS left and decided to stay behind a lapped car for 2 (TWO) whole laps instead of using a very very small % of your KERS to get past it because according to you "it's better to save it", i would say that it's the best advice you can receive lmao

Well....Once bad manager always...bad manager. Learn to use KERS properly and leave the devs alone. They are working on many things that are way more important than this blue flag crap

I wasn't there for the race, the AI didn't use any of my KERS, how is that my fault. I only found out in a recording after the race. And the addition honestly wouldn't cause any bugs.

As I said, I wasn't there. If the two of you only want to brag how good you are and are not going to input anything valuable, leave me alone and stop harrasing me. If you're not for it, suck it up and go away.

That is absolute Bs. The only way AI would not use boost is if you had already joined and then left the race. AI will never not use boost during a race unless you have done as i said above.  Your argument for blue flags is a joke, as others have said you need to improve your gameplay. Stop moaning about every tiny little thing, instead ask questions on how you can imorove. A couple of your ideas have been good, but Blue flags ARE NOT NEEDED.

I didn't want to waste it. Its always best to use it all on the last lap and a half, and its helped me make many more places up on the final lap and get the fastest lap as well

Luca Dahse
I always do it and I get many positions like I did in that race. It works so I won't change my strategy

Luca
I wasn't there for the race, the AI didn't use any of my KERS, how is that my fault. I only found out in a recording after the race.

The first two statements that you posted at the beginning of the thread contradict the third one that you just posted; you either were online and decided to save all of your KERS because "it's good" (no, it's not good) or you weren't online (hard to believe because you'd have said that from the start, also i've never seen an AI not KERSing when the manager isn't there for the race), but obviously you can't have both at the same time. At this point you're making things up to fit your flawed narrative.

Anyway here's another good advice: players are the ones that need to adapt to the game's mechanics, NOT the other way around. You'll never be good if you don't understand this, the game is what it is, it isn't supposed to cater to your liking. Especially not when you haven't even done 30 races yet.

Luca
If the two of you only want to brag how good you are and are not going to input anything valuable, leave me alone and stop harrasing me. If you're not for it, suck it up and go away.

If you wanna be left alone then don't make dumb threads that you aren't even able to defend with actual arguments my guy, your only arguments for "muh blues" is that you ruined your own race because of your poor judgement during the race, and then proceed to change the story because people call you out on it.

This whole victim mentality is pretty cringe, welcome to the real world where free speech exists and people can disagree with you without that meaning that they're "harassing" you lmao.

Blue flags aren’t needed, it is usually pretty  easy to get past a lapped car, if you’re stuck behind one, boost or wait for DRS, That explains why I don’t think it is needed

My opinion is that blue flags are not needed, that the devs are better off working on something else that's better for the game and that you just want to change the lapped car dynamics cause your bad lol.

Luca

How many times do I have to say it. It was raining so now DRS and I wasn’t there to use boost. It would be much easier to have blues. You’re a minority not for it, my entire league wants it.

I hope you understand that "Your entire league" is a minority within iGP manager. Good job changing the story once again tho, now apparently you joined but got disconnected exactly on the two laps where you were stuck (what a coincidence!), which still contradicts your first two posts that say that you could have used KERS if you wanted to.

Anyway to sum up "my justification":
if you're online and have KERS -> use KERS if you're stuck behind a car
if you're online and don't have KERS -> tough luck, should have managed your KERS better
if you're not online -> the AI will do the job for you so you don't have to worry about it
if you get disconnected -> tough luck, if it's a bug report it on the bug section of the forum
Simple as. You don't need blue flags for that, just better management. And if you struggle understanding the basics of the game then asking more experienced people or researching is a better idea than wanting to force a change onto everyone just because it doesn't suit you.

First off, your justification is terrible.

I do understand that my league is a minority in the community, but I believe many others think like us. My solution would be to make it an option in each league.
I never said I could of used KERS, I just forgot to say I was disconnected. The same problem happened the last race I wasn't there for. I wasn't just absent for those two laps either. You're the one changing the story. Other people have understood that opinions clash, and have tried to contribute, but you still want to be rude to me.
Jimmy

Yes, blue flags are useless at the moment, BECAUSE THEY DON'T EXIST. It's harder to overtake in the wet, and a post in the 3d bug page showed a car on drys unable to overtake a car on inters on a dry track.

I wasn't there when it happened, why can't you understand that.

You realise that this issue of the cars on Inter being as fast as cars on dry tyres (both cars are on the same lap) literally has nothing to do with the fact that you got stuck 2 laps behind a LAPPED car that's probably +5 seconds per lap slower right?
Anyway you mentioned that you watched a recording of your race. Could you show us that recording to understand better what happened? Because maybe you were in the wrong tyre compound, wrong PL, didn't fix your cars, etc.

Also out of curiosity the race you are talking about was in Malaysia?

Well of course my justification would be terrible according to someone who doesn't understand how the game works lol

Yes, blue flags are useless at the moment, BECAUSE THEY DON'T EXIST. It's harder to overtake in the wet, and a post in the 3d bug page showed a car on drys unable to overtake a car on inters on a dry track.

I understand how this game works, thanking you kindly.

The car wasn't 5 seconds per lap slower, it was the dry to wet switch that caught him out so he was behind a lot. And it does as it shows that overtaking is harder after the update.
I was on inters as he was, may car was fully fixed (one car league), and my push level was neutral to avoid tire overheating. And yes, it was Malaysia

You can stop harrasing me now

Then it never happened. Simple as that. Even with this video your point is NOT clear. Lapped cars are already slow as you are closing on them. But if you're that bad of course you are going to cry about it. Just adapt to the game and learn how to play p-r-o-p-e-r-l-y. I guess you know spelling huh?
