Well, if my drivers skills were lowered to my lvl cap of 6, whats the point of that when I can hire one with several stats around 10 ? (and then train the lower attributes towards my lvl cap)

im not in agreement of changing driver stats as mentioned before we have taking ages training our drivers to max every day. now with new igp they have lowered and now with the new training system it will take ages to get them back to were they should have been.

In the old game all the focus was on the drivers skills, what I saw in beta while it was running is all the focus is on the car any driver can perform well if he has the car to do it.

hmm you where in the same league Jason?
Jack had 15-16 talent drivers & the other guy had 1-2 talent drivers they where pushing each other for wins.

It was easily offset by the benefits of facilities being increased up to 70% of your level, negating any performance loss.

There won't be any more drastic stuff like we had to do on the first 1-2 days, now it's just about balancing the features and gameplay and getting the racing to be as good as it was on the beta when everyone was playing under the new system. A variety of strategies being deployed in all areas.

I think I alluded to this being a drawn out process in my blog, it was never going to be perfect balance on day 1 during a migration of this sort. We're doing what we can to steady the ship as we travel through rough waters!

Quick comment: tokens reimbursed, but not money used to speed up that process :-/ My balance took quite a hammering ultimately for nothing with this.

Hi Simon, I've just reimbursed the cash used by teams who spent Tokens to accelerate the HQ before the rebalancing. You should have a mail in your inbox explaining. Someone else brought this to my attention yestrday, I missed it when reimbursing the tokens. Sorry for any confusion.

Joking, but like Jack said suppliers are only giving a +1 bonus in one stat and are totally differents from old igp.

OK... now I'm pissed, you reduce my best driver stats to be in my same level, but now, another manager, level 10, bought a lvl 15 and lvl 14 drivers, WTF!!! That's what all of this is all about?

Andi G I agree with you, Im not seeing the new driver stats as being fair,

I Just noticed in my league that a level 14 manager has a level 15 driver whos stats are all 20s and 19s. while my drivers had been downgraded to my cap of 11 and dont have a single stat over 11.

I dont understand this!!!


Driver in question is Thomas wood @ ivy gate. Id love to hear an explanation how a level 14 manager now has driver whos maxed out

Instead of looking at the numbers and getting pissed off, dig deeper. It looks like this person exploited something as that very driver was let go on 8/25, the day before the switch over. They then appear to rehire them on 9/1. Odd things have happened to teams that were not in a league or staff not tied to a team.

No, it's the first time that both drivers are in that same team. I don't know how he did it, but he still have them, so, What's up? Is anybody going to do anything?

I don't see it as an exploit, I can see old staff & drivers that I used to have on the markets & they still have high ratings, You need to remember Jack only edited live in use teams, he didn't run it on unemployed drivers and staff too.

To date, whenever someone has said another driver has excess levels, it turns out to be only 3 or 4 skills at that level, but the overall is still in line with the manager level. This was deemed acceptable during the migration, for drivers like this to be on the market.

It is one reason among others that I've proposed changing training level caps, so that all new drivers can be trained in this way too, if we want.
