Favourite driver (current) - Max Verstappen
Best of all times - Ayrton Senna
Favourite team - Force India
2016 Winner - Nico Rosberg
Started watching F1 - 1994
Future of F1 - The new regulations for 2017, that lean more towards aero performance, will favour a battle between the Mercedes and the Red Bulls. I think Ferrari and McLaren will also be there or thereabouts, but Ferrari seems to be imploding due to politics and management pressure so I would bet on McLaren for 3rd in the Championship (even after Dennis' departure).

(cont.) Liberty Media will open up F1 to social media and integrate it in the new digital world using new technologies and giving the viewers a range of immersive ways to engage with F1 and follow their favourite drivers. As for circuits, if the new owners do take a more hands-on approach than CVC, Azerbaijan, Russia and Malaysia will quickly give way to another US GP and potentially a return to Argentina, South Africa or Portugal.

Well well well, Rosberg announces his retirement?

What do you think about that? The only way i can understand it is because he knows he will ever be so lucky again :P

That was a bit of a surprise, wonder who will get his seat.

Either buy Bottas out of his contract with Williams or take a chance on Wehrlein.

You would love to say Max... but RB would never be stupid enough to let him leave.

Just speculating, could Alonso be a possibility? He isn't happy running around at the back and in August this year he was quoted as saying

"If I was teammate of Lewis one day I think it would be very different, because we have learned and we are very different people. We no longer have that ... let's say that stress of winning on the side because I think we respect each other a lot."

If he's not happy with the new car for next season then I think he may go for it given the chance.

He would defo take a chance, and maybe McLaren would be happy to let him go too... Costing lots of money, making no attempt to hide his frustration... I suppose it depends how confident they are in their car for next year.

If Alonso did leave I think it would speak volumes about what they are expecting out the McLaren Honda next season...

That was a bit of a surprise, wonder who will get his seat.

It's a good question. can't wait to see what happens. I don't think Mercedes has an answer at the moment, smoking brains at Mercedes.
Will they go for a top driver? risking battles between their drivers, or will they go for a young 2ND driver?

Who would you like to see on that car?
- I'd love to see Alonso or Perez battling with Hamilton.

@Dan : Pastor Maldonado for obvious reasons

No way, he is waiting to be Montoya's team mate.

But, really, what you think Joey. Who you is going to be there next to Hamilton?

So what do you think about Montoya/Maldonado ?
Seriously with same rules I think Wehrlein had good chances : He already worked for Mercedes, did a solid season with Manor and he's german but 2017 brings new rules and I think Mercedes needs 2 experienced drivers so I doubt about him now ..

How about Vettel? That would be an interesting pairing. He's German and doesn't hide the fact that he's not happy at Ferrari.

Well, Nico is retired now and a perfect time to do it!

Realistically there i only one driver i can see that will be able to fill that seat, Pascal Wehrlein.
-Esteban Ocon has just signed to Force India and i doubt force India would just let him go at this point.
-Fernando Alonso is still contracted to Mclaren and i can't see Mclaren wanting to let Fernando go, especially considering who will fill the vacant mclaren seat next to Stoffel Vandoorne. It would cause a headache for them and on top of this their next rookie driver is Nobuharu Matsushita, he is not even ready to come up to Formula 1 and after the stunt he pulled in 2016 in GP2 that got him a race ban for dubious antics after the safety car period ended in Baku.
-Button and Massa have both retired from Formula 1 as well.

at the moment, Wehrlein and Alonso are the stronger possibilities. Wehrlein because is the easy choice, and i think Alonso will leave Mclaren in 10 seconds if mercedes calls him.
Also Vettel is not being mentioned but, it would be really interesting Hamilton-Vettel, Vettel-Hamilton moanhahahah
