I've found the solution to resolve all problems in F1 and Mercedes just needs to hire those 2 drivers :

They will bring :
- more fans to watch and spectate weekends
- more show and unpredictability during races
- no more domination for Mercedes
- less money used for contracts
- less staff required (no need to have cooks)

i think will be on that Order:

1- Verstappen
2- Ricciardo
3- Alonso
4- Vettel
5- Sainz
6- Mick Schumacher

Pd: We miss you Nico! World Champion!

I think Mercedes will shop around see what a buyout would be and id say they go with experience over youth. Id say Vettel is the #1 then Alonso #2 and then maybe Wehrlien at #3, but people saying Vestappen, Ricciardo, Sainz or Bottas need to realize that they are all happy at their teams even though Sainz is a little unhappy that he is stuck at Toro Rosse he is better off staying there then trying to ditch red bull because if did that they wouldnt be happy and we all know what happened to Kvyat when they were unhappy with him. Honestly wish that Hulk didnt sign with Renault cause seeing him in a top tier car wouldve been great but oh well

I think the rule changes for next year mix things up a bit, a team with a good car this season won't necessarily carry over to next and the same with a bad one.

Pitpass have updated their 'who goes where'

http://www.pitpass.com/58033/Who-Goes-Where-2017-Amended

Nasr, Kvyat and Wehrlein are worth checking out :-)

I can't see Kyvat in a Mercedes. Mercedes are looking for a fast solid pair of hands and Kyvat has already proven he is not up to the challenge, anyone forget Russia where Vettel was a target, twice?

Just for the value of being perverse, i want to see Verstappen in a Mercedes, it would make so many people unhappy to see that kid dominating so early and having one up over Hamilton is something i want to see.

Alonso can't go, because Mclaren have him contracted for next season, Wolff himself just recently mentioned that while he didn't rule out a legal battle with another team for a driver, he wouldn't want to pursue it if it can be helped unless he had help from the other team to avoid a legal battle. for mclaren, that is not likely to happen as mclaren know what Alonso is worth.

Wehrlein was actually close to a deal with Sauber to race there for next season but those talks have stopped due to the unique situation with the vacant Mercedes seat. It's possible that this Mercedes seat could be taken by another driver and he could still race in Sauber. However i doubt Koltenborn is willing to wait for very long to commit her driver line up.

Vettel has contract at Ferrari and made it clear he isn't going anywhere by letting the media know about the contract.

Horner mentioned that both his drivers are locked into multi year deals and he knows he is still on a gold mine, no way he would willingly let a rival team take one of his two most prized drivers. You can be sure Toro Rosso have the same arrangement through Marko.

Just because half the grid has contacted Mercedes for the seat, doesn't mean half the grid are willing to break their contracts to get to it and then put themselves in a huge legal battle in court.

Both women are getting a bit on in their ages. you would say that it is just a number, but the average age for retirement is around 37 years old. Besides this anyway, Danica has been racing around NASCARs for the last number of years and her single seater expertise are likely really rusty. Susie recently retired from motorsports as a driver and even if she were considered for the drive it would be because of her husbands favoritism towards her rather than for her ability on the track.

An unfortunate reality of the motorsports world, very rarely has a lady racer ever managed to show that they can beat their male counterparts, Danica is apart of the very small minority that can but the rest are just not up to the racing standards for whatever reason. I hope one day a lady racer will come along and show the men how to race in F1 in the future.

@Jason : In the situation a driver is under contract Toto also mentioned he'll only do it if both teams agree so we can understand drivers like Vettel, Alonso or Bottas are likely to stay in their teams but that also lets a good amount of drivers eligible for the second seat, even under contract.

Regarding my other post that was a joke ^^

That is the part where Mercedes and another team work together to avoid a legal battle for a driver. Bottas would be more likely than Alonso because Williams has Mercedes engines stuffed in the back. Williams could work out a better engine deal in exchange for Bottas for example. But that would leave an empty seat to fill there.

And i know :p. But i thought i may as well just let you know anyway.

Where Eddie is concerned, you can be sure he won't mince his words when he wants to say something, he is a rare breed of racing driver with a personality and with Kimi on the way out, there will be no stand out personalities in the field in a few years from now.

Susie and Toto are also expecting their first child! Not sure she would be able to fit in the car soon :|

Vettel and Alonso have always been the type to enjoy cheese and whine, to a lesser extent so has Hamilton but he hides it better within concern. to bad you won't get a reporter coming up to Lance Stroll in a few years saying he just went to the toilet in brutal honesty!
