I would like to see a better marketplace where you can search for specific skills, age, or gender for drivers and staff, and not just browse through what the game thinks will be interesting for you, because I don't think there is only 30 of each in my level range on the market at the same time, yet I can only see 30, and I can't refresh for new offers.

GREAT IDEA

Flag system is good idea. At this moment we can have yellow flag (for retirements), green flag, blue flag and of course, checked flag

Apart from your random crashes I tend to agree with what you want, safety cars would be a bit like changeable weather, it would affect all teams and reward the manager who best adapts to the prevailing circumstances.

However, do you have to bang on about it and take over every suggestion thread with your view of the way the game should develop? We've all heard it many, many, many times in a number of threads. You don't have to keep repeating yourself, we get it.

Ho is talking about 'random' crashes? Those are extremely rare, if they exist at all in F1. A car collides with another, or leaves the circuit for a variety of reasons, mechanical failure, driver error, slippery surface leading to failure of grip, and others. These are not random and a team boss can make them more, or less likely to happen by the choices he makes. That would be the challenge. Balancing the risk of an incident with the possible gains to be made by pushing the envelope. A more conservative strategy might be slower, but...to finish first, first you must finish. At present this element it almost completely missing from iGP, but is at the heart of F1.

Don't misrepresent, by malice, or stupidity, what I advocate.
By the way, you do bang on about it... Every single thread that I push this concept, you are there, there with your negativity...it's not going to happen, no one wants it, it wouldn't be fair...every single time.

I won’t even lower myself to respond to your latest rant but referring to your previous post let’s put the record straight shall we….

And EVERYBODY knows you want a simplified game

Hopefully it's only in your mind that everybody knows I want a simplified game.

You don't know me but once again, as in previous threads, you have the audacity to presume that you know what I want, what I think and why I’m thinking it. And once again, you’re absolutely wrong.
I’ve been playing this game for years. I was one of a group of managers who was quite vocal about dumbing down when it changed from “Browser only” to a “Browser & App” game in 2016. Personally I found the old game more of a challenge but some of the complexity had to go because of the limitations of mobile devices. I have on occasions made various “specific” suggestions which I believe would make the game less predictable, these have included:
Making tyres much more sensitive to ambient temperature meaning the same tyre strategy wouldn’t work season after season.
Qualifying on first stint fuel load combined with the pit stop time being proportional to the quantity of fuel loaded. Again this would mix things up and result in agressive and conservative strategies.
Hiding the quantity of boost left so that your competitors wouldn’t know how much you have remaining.
And more that I can’t remember at the moment.
So you telling me that I want a simplified game doesn't really stack up does it?

so there is no need to come on and trash other people's ideas

If you would be so good as to point me at my posts which “trash” others ideas I’d appreciate it. I never intend to trash ideas. On occasions I may point out some possible unwanted side effects and potential exploits that would result from what at first glance appears to be a very good idea.

Because I have been playing iGP for so long I have also seen a number of suggestions from newcomers to the game that have been mentioned on a number of occasions over the years and been dismissed by the developers either as too difficult to implement or not on their plan. Where this is the case I don't see a problem in letting people know.
If anything, I’m quite the opposite of what you accuse me of being. I am always willing to help and advise people where I can.

This thread suggested two alternatives in the vote, one promoting more complexity in game play, the other pushing for more cosmetic enhancements.

I thought I counted three alternatives. But hey, you’re the one that seems to know everything so I must have miscounted.

It is not 'endlessly banging on to offer constructive support to one of the OP's original propositions.

I agree. But it seems that you post the same vague suggestions multiple times on a number of different threads and to my mind that counts as banging on. Criticising the game combined with an extremely vague request for the game to improve without giving any specific features you want other than “incidents of various kinds”
I think that the whole raceday segment of the game is by far it's weakest point and is in need of a major revamp. The actual race might as well be abstracted like qualification at, for most teams. More of the challenges that real life races have is the best way forward, including incidents (of various kinds) and a revised version of the KERS boost to bring it closer to the way the system actually works in F1.

Let's see more of the simulation and less of the gamey aspects.

Finally…

so there is no need to come on and trash other people's ideas, as you do every time your toes get trodden on

Believe me, you have not trodden on my toes.
