New Transfers System

Tomorrow we will be rolling out major changes to the transfers system. This update will be accompanied by another big improvement in stability and performance of the website and management screens. There will likely be a small maintenance window on the transfers page only of up to an hour, during the deployment of the update.

Tomorrow's update will not require an app update and will be received by all platforms. An update to the race viewer and apps will also be released soon. We considered launching it all together but getting these improvements in to the game now is more important.

A full changelog will be published with the update but the key highlights are:

• Auctions will last 4 minutes instead of several hours and the entire transfers page will refresh with new auctions every 4 minutes


• Tokens will be returned to managers who do not win auctions

Note: Getting the update tomorrow will require a cache clear after it's deployed. We will try to automate this in the apps but it may be necessary to do a manual cache clear on desktops.

Hello managers,

As expected we have encountered several problems and we have decided to extend the maintenance. We are aware of how eager you are to try this new system but to ensure proper functioning we prefer to be cautious and apply more security checks and test all scenarios intensively.

This is the first time in years that we have altered the way the transfer market and the bidding system works, so it is a real challenge for us. Not everything could be tested in our beta environment so we are finishing optimising everything.

Additionally we have applied fixes to side-bugs we found.
