It would be nice to have more facilities like more offices or new things you can research.

What new research would you like to see and why do you want more staff?

Oh yes! I forgot the engine factory, you will need more office space to get employees.

Turbo unites could be under research department.

Hybrid systems maybe even solar panels would be found not in research but in the all new ECOS Environmental Centre, for a small fee of just 20,000,000 you too could help the environment with a state of the art ECOS Centre :D

I do not have an idea of new research yet, but it was just an example.

A cool idea would be to see the weight of a car. Like that you can choose a front wing that works better than an other front wing but that it is heavy so your car will be slower.

That is something that has been overlooked the total weight of the car but it's already there you can't see it.
100% design car is going to be the lightest.

Although we can make everything up to 100% realistically it's impossible to make any car 100%
It would be nice to see a page with all the details on it including the overall performance of the car.
Downforce 29%
Reliability 30%
Mechanical Grip 21%
Cooling 20%
Overall 100%

+1 to this, along with the choice to go for aero grip over mechanical, or reliability over downforce.

sorry, I'm not sure how to add previous replies

Just on the right hand side Ray use that reply to add other person comment :)

it would be nice to set work percentage on the overall car like of murk & tifosi might get away with 10% cooling on the car ;)

Sorry, please dont mess with the fuel!

I am only playing a matter of weeks. I like the idea of be able to play with fuel levels, it has caught me out, it has worked for me. The real world does not say but in 30 laps and it does 30 laps.

The real world says but in 30kg (and L's is totally fine too!) and then has to manage that based on pace etc. In fact, I think that needs to be pushed more... I have pushed my car to the limit for 3 laps till the tyres were ferrari red and compared to the lowest push setting my usage only change something like .4l per lap. In the real world this would be much more noticable.

Since we have refuelling and no max fuel, it will never hit the management levels of F1, but it would be yet another reason to have to attend your races and something else to manage. As it stands I only worry about fuel levels 1 lap before my last stop! But having to manage pace against fuel against tyre ware against the number of stops.... now what would be fun!

Indeed having to manage the car during the race is what it is all about, too much allowing for people not being able to attend the race is throwing up problems.
It's hardly fair on the people that take the time to attend when someone that doesn't attend could beat them.

Over heating brakes and engines could that not be added too along the managing of tyres and fuel?

After my last race I would really like to see more use of fuel levels, I was in comfortable 3rd when I realised I was about 2l short on my last stint, I noticed laps before the end and had no choice by to run my tyres to death, came out in 4th on SS on the last lap and just managed to take back 3rd.

In the real world I would have just told the driver to "lift and coast" and cruised to 3rd place. But there just isnt the difference in fuel usage at the moment.

I had my race set up for none attendance, and would have scraped 8th or 9th I reckon with heavy fuel and medium tyres that as it turned out where still stone cold after 4 laps, but attending meant I could push the boat out and got 3rd. Taking away fuel as it stands will just give people less reasons to turn up :(

My data shows in Europe that Super-Soft is best doing 6laps & Soft 8laps so in order to keep up using slower tyres I would say Medium 9laps & Hard 10laps.
The tyre wear in Europe is average, so you would only be using med or hard if the weather temperatures are extremely high 29-32°C softs should still work fine.

If you're searching for drivers you can show filters, at the filters you can sort by weight, level, nation and age, but it would be handy to sort by health and fee too at the filters

In IGP Manager you have Push Levels, Push Levels 1-5, but I would like to have defending . That means that when someone is behind you and you don't want to let him get passed you, you do your Defending Level higher so it's harder for him to get passed you, but you will be slower than.

Young driver academy.
Can there be a Kart & Lower Formula Teams established with their wee League position, monthly funding costs.
With the ability to select the drivers to join the teams to build up the drivers Talent.

Take a low 1-2% Talent 10 year old, stick him in the Kart Team for 5years to get 9-10% Talent.
Then promote them to the Lower Formula Team once they turn 15yrs, Stay there till they turn 17yrs of age to build them up to 19-20% Talent & if you don't promote the driver to your main team before he turns 18 he is released to the market for anybody to hire him :)

There would be a flood of talent 20 drivers on the market and I'm not sure that would be a good idea. Supply and demand is important to have I think.

But the young driver may have 20 Talent with only 1 for Error & 5 Experience meaning he might crash a lot until he matures.

If the Error rating grows like current Experience say 9 season to reach 15-16%
And the Experience is changed to the system I was talking about earlier the driver will be retired before he gets near to 20 Experience unless the driver has been used by lots of teams to increase his Experience faster ;)

I am new to this game and I love the strategy (and potential for failure) in the fuel as it stands.  But I do understand that making the game mobile freindly would definately improve the popularity.

Maybe we could have something a little different that allowed both driver skill and manager riskiness play a role.  I would like to see the ability to set "target" stints for the race strategy when you can't be there.  They would tell the driver targets to aim for in things like fuel burn, push level, tire wear, laps per stint, etc.  That would allow you to give the driver target paremeters that he would try to hit, and he would be better at hitting them exactly based on a particular skill.  So if you wanted to focus on laps run you could set consertive strategies for tire wear and fuel burn while setting a specific "run 8 laps this stint" value for laps.  It could also be done in a slightly different way with rules like "pit at x tire wear %" but I think that might be a little too simplified.

I think that would allow more strategic play to remain but still give players who prefer a simpler experience to set things up.

Also, +1 vote for crashes, especially if the driver is out on the wrong tires or is off the pace and pushing too hard or something.
