@Blunion : Just edited my last post with more informations, the minor text changes actually are some mistakes removed or words changed, also I added 2 paragraphs regarding features I forgot to talk about. The advanced guide should be available in the next week and will talk about everything else or to go in details with some tricks.

Not Joey, but in general, with rough estimates of rain in mm:

0.0mm - Dry weather. Dry tyres are the fastest.
0.1mm-3.0~mm - Wet track/wet weather for intermediate tyres. Dry tyres may be on par with inters at close to 0.1mm.
3.0mm-3.5~mm - Grey area between intermediate and wet tyres. Wet tyres may qualify ahead, but because you can push harder on inters, inters may be faster in the race.
3.7mm-5.0mm - Heavy wet weather for wet tyres.

Thanks for posting this guide.  I'm a few days into iGP manager. I have a question about tyre use.

If the practice results shows the tyre use is 15% what does it means?

100% ÷ 15% = 8,6 rounds max.?

80% ÷ 15% = 5,3 rounds max.?

In short tyres will degrade at the set rate per lap (fuel load depending)

Lap 1 = 100% - 15% = 85%
Lap 2 = 85% - 15% = 72.5%
Lap 3 = 72.5% - 15% = 61.41%

Etc ... so in theory you would get more then just 100 / 15 but also need to be carful as you don't really want to go below 20% tyre life...

That's how I have interpreted it anyway :)

Hi all,

New to the game, setting up for a race and current conditions show a black cloud with rain, clearly means rain, the forecast ahead shows just a black cloud.

Is there a chart somewhere that shows what each symbol means and how much rain is likely, I understand forecasts and weather are changeable but it would help to know whether it is likely to be raining to start on correct tyres etc.

Thanks

Rob look at the advanced guide and find the weather station link to the track you are talking about. The game pulls real world weather data. That should help make a decision

About tyres they degrade slowers each lap, for example 15% during the first lap, then 13.7% during the second lap, 12.7% and so on ..

Also under 50% health tyres are considered "bad" and under 20% they are considered "dead".

Joey or anyone else, I have a siily question.

In the guide was told to focus on physical training (stamina and weight) for new drivers.
Is a much lighter with lot of stamina faster than a driver with better skill points? Or the main point of investing in stamina is to have more health points do train after a daily race?
I would like to understand a bit more about that aspect.

Joey, your guide is awesome. Thanks for take your time to help all of us!

Stamina makes a driver faster, especially later into a race. I don't know about weight and I don't know if it's supposed to make much of a difference, Formula 1 cars have a rather high minimum weight these days including the driver after all. But it doesn't hurt the drivers speed to train weight for sure and since it doesn't count as much for driver level it's best done early, because it doesn't slows down training progress as much as other skills and thus would take a lot longer to train it later.

Why is the balance of the game so weird? I'll drive beginner league but i'm so much faster than the rest. Its nog even fun to play like this, even if i only do my setup and not even race live i win with 60 to 120 seconds with both of my riders before the nr 3 and if i check at my car it sais my team doesnt even have the best upgraded car? Were not even on the half of the competition and the difference is already 300+ points! Wil this be better in higher leagues?
