@Youri, You're more than likely racing in a non-active league. Check and see how many teams did 'Practice' in the previous races.

We have an active league if you fancy a change.

I have a problem.....How do I select Stamina to train for a driver?

"Basically you'll train them after each race or each day if you aren't in a 7 races per week league, you can change the training option by clicking on its name"

In Training menu,I click on driver's name, and 3 tabs are displayed for him:Attributes, stats and contract.

In Attributes, some skills are green, grey or red.
How do I select the Stamina to be trained first?

This is the driver:

On the training page you need to cycle these buttons and train Physical:

That's for the browser, if you're using the app it is not quite so intuitive. Go to the training page and click on the centre button (the grey one with the circular arrow between the HEAL and TRAIN buttons. This will change the view from the default HEALTH/PROGRESS view to the one that allows you to choose the area on which to focus the training.

Thank you guys....much appreciated :)....I was able to change the training option.
Yes, I'm using mobile app to play the game.

This isn't very intuitive ......maybe this could get an improvement.

It will use wet tyres for both qualifying and race as you had set it at 2mm

This guide is awesome! As a new player I experiance that most of the time SS Tires are the winning way to go, even if this means doing more then 5 pitstops. Is this due to the weather (because its winter now in Europe most races are run at 10c) or has this also to do with something like beeing a low lvl driver and not having the car or the driver to really push the tires or something?

I know this is silly question, but at what level you're allowed to have a driver with 20 on all stats?

You can have a driver with all 20s at any level, it is just a matter of having the time to train them to get there.

Well, I mean there's a driver level cap (red stars driver) right? So it is take too much time to have a driver with all 20s on early level, say level 5, even if they're trained off season. So my point is at what level when the driver level cap is allowed you to have 20 on all stats (excluding talent and experience) without going through training driver on 5 red star.

Sorry I ask this to plan out my current driver contract and future driver.

I have seen managers at level 17 have driver's that are maxed out with all 20 stats except for experience.

A driver at minimum weight and having all attributes except experience at 20 will be at least L18. So if you want to buy such a driver from the market that's what manager level you need to be.
A driver can be trained to this level by a manager at any level but to achieve this you first need to get hold of a talent 20 driver and these are difficult to come by at low manager level.
Then it's a case of how much are you prepared to spend? If you don't want to spend anything it will take a long time to train them and you are likely to have naturally levelled up as a manager to at least 16 before you achieve 20 for all attributes.
If you're prepared to buy tokens to accelerate training I'm sure you could do this at almost any level but you'd need to have very deep pockets indeed.

?

Hi Steve

Much of it is still good advice for beginners. There are a few things to watch out for...

  • Tyres have been updated and certainly for 50% races the Hard compound slicks have gone from being the best tyre just about everywhere to being pretty much useless. Not sure about other race distances, maybe a 75% and 100% manager will chip in here with advice.

  • Suppliers now have strengths and weaknesses which wasn't the case when Joey wrote this guide. For Rookie and Pro tiers in particular these can be very useful because they allow managers to exceed the design cap. In Elite this is not the case because, according to the developers the race simulator doesn't cater for greater than 100 design points. However, careful selection of suppliers and allocation of your design HQ generated dp allows you to optimise research in the earlier part of the season.

  • The 10 free parts per day limit for viewing ads no longer applies. The current limit is 5 but you can now view ads to do other things like boost driver health.

I raced against Joey and Kimi (both the same person) and he was just about unbeatable. AFAIK he hasn't raced any of his accounts since June 2017. I've not heard from him for a while so most likely he is never coming back. Maybe it's time for one of the other experienced managers to review and update both this and the advanced guide.
