The 7 kg ballast in PRO makes it impossible to fight with level 14 and 15 players. I understand that you have to somehow level the chances, but having the best drivers and a car in races, I am not able to compete with such players, before the update it was possible, looking at other players.

for me it's still possible fight for win with 7 kg ballast

At your level you should be in the elite tier. Sometimes there is no free spot in elite so we are relegated in pro on purpose but others pro managers are still learning and they don't want to be beaten by lvl 20 with no chance to win. So it's normal to have a real ballast to penalized high level account in the pro tier in order that everyone might win.

We're going to be submitting the next update to the stores on Monday. We've been testing very thoroughly and think a few extra days will really pay dividends with everything we want to fix. The raft of improvements will include smoother racing in 2D, as it inherits the code from 3D to animate the races, new mini map mode in 3D, improved 2D map within 3D mode (which is basically equivalent to pure 2D mode), cars will be visible through buildings in 3D, all circuits will be released in 3D, racing lines on all circuits will be fixed so that cars don't go off-roading putting too many wheels in the dirt, all integrations in the app will be updated to their latest versions and we hope this will reduce crashes on mobiles (we believe some crashes are coming from third-party software integrations) and much more.

If you're aware of any more bugs that haven't been covered then let us know before then and we'll try include any fixes we can.

Edit: A scale-corrected Australia is also being worked on right now and should be ready within a couple of weeks. We will start looking in to tyre balancing and overtaking soon as well. We're aware from your feedback that these are the pressing gameplay concerns.


I’m assuming this didn’t go to plan as a update hasn’t be released? Been 4 weeks now since the last update on IOS 

Are you able to provide any more updates on when we might receive this game update?

Hello Jim,

Android version was released successfully, unfortunately Apple updated their policy related to advertising and different app parameters a few days ago, that’s why our app update on iOS is being delayed.

in 2d whenever i tried to zoom in on a car and watch it if you know what i mean the dot or car goes tiny and i cant help it.

The point of updates is to improve any game and iron out identified bugs.  Most of us have been patient with the game changes in the expectation that you will resolve the issues and end up with a superior product.  However, this is clearly not the direction this game is going in.

The iOS update today was supposed to resolve many of these issues, but it hasn’t, in fact things have got much worse.  Tonight the ltalian GP in my league was a disaster.  In 2D at MAXIMUM zoom it was like watching ants the cars and track were so small, making it impossible to see anything.  Tyres regardless of type massively overheat at any push level.  The plus/minus keys in strategy and also at car upgrade are missing.  In my opinion the game is now unplayable

I also face issues similar
I honestly cannot believe the amount of errors this game has, I wouldn't mind if it was an update we wanted but this isn't, I'm surprised they actually managed to built an app altogether. This means the actual updates we wanted are probably not coming until 2035 after they fixed this hot mess.
I just wish they would or could roll back to before this stupid 3D and work on actual things we want and continue 3D for another year until it's actually playable

Could be using apple as an excuse

There were specific reasons this update in particular was slow on Apple. They recently made drastic changes to how user data and privacy is handled. You will find many articles about this online, like this one. That impacted all developers and created some extra delays on iOS. We had to spend extra time complying with those new regulations in this update because it arrived at the same time as those changes, plus the review time, so that was the reason it was delayed relative to the Google Play update.

We are really focused on one issue in particular now - that is the reported crashes on Android. We can see that it has impacted a lot of users on lower end devices, and we are making good progress in to this today. That's the last critical "bug" type issue we have to get on top of before we can focus on gameplay.

I have begun compiling information on tyres, overtaking etc. and work will start on this soon. Starting with a clearer picture of what needs to change and how, we'll be able to make faster changes to balance gameplay. Frankly, it was unintentional that the update had some of the effects it had, but changing tracks and racing lines has obviously created a a series of outcomes (mainly near level 20) which will require rebalancing. That's coming in to focus now that we're wrapping up the initial patches on 3D.

EDIT: As you may have seen, we are also hiring to get more hands on these patches and updates so we can start bringing them to you sooner. I want faster progress and I know you do too, so I'm doing my best to strengthen the team in the areas that need reinforcements so we can pick up the pace.
