That's precisely the problem. If other teams can further develop their chassis because they have customers, nobody will buy from me as a manufacturer, because I can only offer an inferior product. To become attractive to customers, I need the opportunity to develop. As it stands, it's just a waste of $100 million without any chance of recouping the investment.

Or Jack could just give us everything fully developed from day one. 🤖

It's not about selling a fully developed chassis, but about being put in a position to develop something in the first place.

Okay, Jack is for sure fixing some features, each extra delivery center when purchased (50M) provides+ 2% research power. It's no longer tied to clients I assume, and it's better than getting flat out DP, which was kind of overpowered.

And to Heinrich's point, eventually we will all have maxed out chassis, unlike the engines that have strategic differences per track. But the gap will only continue to grow exponentially between popular teams (the ones that had a lot of customers to begin with) and everyone else.

It's not about selling a fully developed chassis, but about being put in a position to develop something in the first place.

I’m putting in a huge amount of effort to get customers — others (you?) need to do the same.

Instead of just complaining, try taking a proactive approach.

If everything is too easy, the challenge disappears.

A bit of difficulty is what makes progress feel earned. 🤖
