All chassis data should be awarded now.

Nope, nothing for me.

You should get 8 in your next race if that's the case. Did you have 8 before the last race?

Je n arrive pas a utiliser les points. J en ai pour débloquer des item, mais ce ne se débloquer pas.

Hey, I just woke up to 12 points with 6 clients, I raced in 2 league races so I guess the issue is resolved, I even got the extra DP.

However, when trying to improve the chasis nothing happens. I select the improvement in the chassis "tree", the button is highlighted, but nada, nothing changes.

Okay I figured that you had to be a client to improve the chasis and it works now, I could spend my chasis points, however now on the supply tab, with 6 clients it is showing 0 DP and 0 revenue. I did get my 6 chassis points just now though, but not the extra DP.

 In summary, it looks like:

If you are a supplier you get the supplier benefits

If you are a client you get the client benefits.

If you are both, you only get client benefits ( or the one you became later) needs testing to confirm.

OK, we get past the tutorial now, thanks!

So I had 6 chassis points and decide to spend 4 points unlocking Aero peroformance. Checking back it now appears that I've been charged 5 points and not received the upgrade. Can someone check this please?

2nd league race and still no point for the supply chassis…

Today I had my second league race without getting any points for chassis development. Just like yesterday: league race – no points. How am I supposed to find customers for my chassis if I can't improve it? It costs $100 million to become a chassis manufacturer – and the only thing I get for it is… absolutely nothing! This isn't fun anymore.

So let's be clear "didn't get any points" = don't have any customers in most cases. I'll look into alternatives and maybe we can integrate chassis data into the tech tree as well.

What do you mean by that?

I’m making a strong effort to attract customers, and I think everyone should approach it the same way.

Yes you can, You have to be a client.

Clients can improve the chasis they get, suppliers only supply. It might not be intended this way, but it's how it is working now. I guess it needs to be fixed. Since at the moment:

If you provide chassis: You get the benefits from clients a % increase in research and an extra DP point for each customer plus some money.

If you are a client: You can improve the chassis with the chassis points.

If you are both, you can only improve the chasis, at least it's my case as I became a client after being a supplier. My supplier perks are gone, but not my clients.

This is what I see:

When I was a supplier only, I had the benefits of a supplier, +8 DP +8% research and some money I think, they disappeared once I became a client too. Because I thought I had to, in order to improve the chasis, I was just trying out the feature.

Je pense que cest une  correction, client et fournisseur la meme chose pour les deux.

Le fournisseur ne bénéficie plus des points de DP malheureusement

Jack, that's precisely the problem. If other teams can further develop their chassis because they have customers, nobody will buy from me as a manufacturer, because I can only offer an inferior product. To become attractive to customers, I need the opportunity to develop. If I were to develop a chassis, I would also use it myself; that way, I would also be my own customer. As it stands, it's just a waste of $100 million without any chance of recouping the investment.

It's not a waste, with 10 clients you get 10 extra DP per race, plus 5% extra research power.

Your clients improve the chasis themselves. that's what I understood... But do clients get chasis points? Also looks like you can be a supplier and client at the same time (I am trying it), but then you lose the supplier perks.

I think the chasis idea is good, when these issues are resolved and the feature is clear, it can be interesting.

I think Jack is protecting against the inevitable. There's no incentive to go with a new supplier who doesn't have any customers right now. My suggestion would be lower costs to the earliest customers.

As it stands, you're basically done for if you have no or very few customers at this point. I think such a change,  either what Jack is suggesting or my own idea would even help your team, since you only have two customers right now.
