Well done to our newest rookie champion, Conor! You absolutely dominated your tier winning every race apart from one (I believe that's an OFZ rookie record now too) wd and GL in pro where you'll have a lot more similarly paced people to battle with on track!

GJ Red! It only took you only 2 seasons to reach pro and with such a comfortable gap to your fellow countryman I think it's safe to say you also deserve to be promoted! GL!
_______________________________________________________
Now we reach pro, where you couldn't call the champion's performance anything other than flawless. Only 6 points away from the maximum you can even manage in one season, well done Sak! I think it's safe to say that elite is well and truly the place for you!

As for Connor and Varman, congrats to both of you for pushing each other so hard and getting so many points. IN the end it was tight between you but Connor is the one who moves up! GL in what will be a harder tier compete in Connor!
_______________________________________________________
And finally it's elite. The most surprising tier of all, I'm sure most of the returning players from the previous season would not have been able to predict Peter as being the S22 champion! It started well for you against Razvan but as the fight for 2nd became the fight for 1st, only you showed the consistency needed to reach the top spot! I wish you all the best for the season 23!

As for Razvan, I'm sure you'll be able to bounce back and get closer to Peter, this battle is not over yet!

That's it for this season everyone, but ofcourse the next one is just around the corner! If you felt that you had more pace in the bag, this is the time to show it! Good luck to everyone for season 23 of Formula Zero!

Congrats to Mick for getting the championship this season, you were clearly faster than everyone else and proved why you should be in pro for season 15! Considering how well Mike did this season I'm sure you are looking forward to S15 too!

Well done David C on finally reaching pro. It took many seasons but in the end, you're determination to move forward prevailed! I wish you all the best in pro!
_______________________________________________________
In pro we saw Carl get his 2nd championship in his short 3 season career. To reach elite so quickly after joining is definitely something to be proud of. I can't wait to see how you'll compete against the other 12 elites in the upcoming seasons! GL!

Mike, you've also reached elite in just 3 seasons and had a similar amount of points to Carl. It's clear that you two are fairly even on pace and hopefully you still have some exciting battles yet to come! Good luck to you for season 15
_______________________________________________________
And in elite, we saw the end of an era! Before S14, Hok had 3 consecutive championships but Tariq, the loser of their close rivalry just the season before, was ready to show his full potential! This season has been a great one for you Tariq and it could be the beginning of a whole lot more! Although I'm 100% sure Joshua will feel S15 is his opportunity to get his 2nd elite championship and maybe even the Bromleys are looking to make the step up...

The competition in every race and every tier is only going to get better and more tense as season 15 continues, so get ready for what could be another historic season!

At rookie there was a tight battle for pretty much the entire season. Luke and Gheorghe were pretty much equally matched throughout and with Claus offering a a great underdog threat it was impossible to let your guard down for a race. In the end Luke was the one who won the battle of the desert and he will move up to pro with the bragging rights.

Gheorghe was close but must feel disappointed to have not been able to wrap up a championship he had led for most of the season...
_______________________________________________________
In pro we once again saw someone demoted from elite absolutely dominate! David won many of the race this season and after only 19 races in OFZ, he's already found himself in elite for the 2nd time! I think the only thing this season proved is that you'd be far better suited in elite!

Peter essentially had the same start to his OFZ career as his long distance rival, the only difference being that he started 3 races sooner. You had a quiet season but for some reason I feel as if you were partly saving your best for the more important challenge that elite will bring very soon!

I'm sure with the new tyre reg changes you might have some surprise results, maybe even a top 5 finish! GL to both of you
_______________________________________________________
And finally we reach the top tier. After 3 full seasons of competition Marc finally got his first OFZ championship in OFZ's first championship without the presence of Leo Yeo. Marc dominated the races taking home 14 wins, 1 more the Leo's former elite record of wins. With Marc now having the most elite OFZ wins and poles achieved in one season he has cemented himself as one of the fastest players to ever compete in OFZ. I wish you the best of luck for the upcoming season!

The modification of the characteristics of the tyres definitely shook up the grid, Ariyatotle for example, jumped from being in the midfield to consistently challenging for podiums. Most teams had no idea what to do with some opting to stay loyal to H-H and others... experimenting with other tyres.

And because of this I'll be really intrigued to see who will be able to capitalise in terms strategy, consistency, pace and activity. Every one of these factors could make or break a championship so good luck to everyone for season 24 of OFZ!

The rookie championship for this tier was just as close as OFZ's with it, at one stage, looking like a 5 potential way championship with 3 main contenders. Anish was the first of the three to bow out of the fight before the final race but he still be proud of his achievements this season. Nick and Patrik fought hard until the final round but Patrik finished Abu Dhabi in 1st, confirming him as the champion for this season. Well done Patrik and I hope you enjoy the challenges that will arise from competing in pro.

As for Nick you also did incredibly well to always be in contention to win the title until the final race, I'm sure you'll want some revenge for being beaten this time. Patrik has won the battle, who will win the war? GL to both of you!

Great job Prabhu! 1 season/17 races in FZW and already a champion, what an incredible achievement! It would have been a complete walkthrough if it wasn't for Jeffery and David always being there to take advantage of every mistake, but nevertheless it was still an awesome season! GL to you in elite!

Jeffery will also be moving up to elite and with more wins than anyone apart from Prabhu I'd say it was a decent performance from you too! Now with less points available due to the faster competition, one off points will make a massive difference so who knows how much higher than Prabhu you could finish! GL!

And David, only 1 more season and I'm sure you'll be the one enjoying the championship and a ticket to elite. Your pace from this season proves it!
_______________________________________________________
Finally we end with elite. The man who started what I considered to be the beginning of a whole lot more has won his second elite championship! Congrats Tariq on getting 2 in a row, now only one away from Hok's record of 3 consecutive championships! The only thing that feasibly stands in your way is Joshua who has steadily been getting closer and closer to the top since season 13 and now seems to have matched if not surpassed your pace. I really hope you two will have an even tighter battle right the way through season 15 with the Bromley's being there too and a midfield much closer to the top lot!

GL to everyone in what promises to be a far less confusingly strategic season 16!

First we'll see the story of the rookie tier. It has been and still is a rough season for the tier, inactivity has had massive presence for some time now and the number of people joining has been low but at least the championship battle was still mostly interesting to watch. Throughout the whole season it has always been either Willy's Teammih or Dennis' Chaunmh winning the races, barring a spectacular performance from Krishna in Monaco and the last two races which have been won by Marcel. Well done to Willy and Dennis for finally reaching the pro tier and having such successful seasons! It was a beginning to become a bit of a nail biter near the end but eventually Willy began building up momentum at just the right moment to wrap up the championship so congratulations to you and GL in pro!

In pro, it really did seem and still seems as if only one manager could win. Mick's Robert Kubica most definitely became a thorn in David's side this season as he seemed to be able to compete and beat Mick's other drivers consistently. In the end Kubica's unbeatable pace and Mick's unbeatable consistency and activity lead him to a very quick title win and this only makes me more excited for what he could achieve in the up and coming races in elite. Maybe even he could be the one to put an end to Tariq's streak!
David's season was pretty much flawless, if you ignore the driver problem, with him even taking a win in Germany to stop Mick from finishing what could have been a whitewash of a season! So congrats to you and good luck for the next 17 races in the top tier.
As for the rest of you pros, say hello to your new competitor, Manuel. I'm sure you'll give him to great welcome to the tier :D
_______________________________________________________
And finally we end our recap at elite. We saw some new faces join the tier this season, some very high leveled managers too! Elite went from 13 managers to completely full within half of the season! As soon as I saw this fresh talent come in, and I think Tariq thought this a bit too, I felt that they were probably going to dominate the whole season with their drivers and higher levels. Although in the end it was still the reigning champion, Tariq who came out with most points! Somehow, even with all of the new challenges that were thrown at him this season, he still managed to win the championship earlier than he did before. Congratulations on your 3rd consecutive elite championship, which now puts you equal with Hok's record of consecutive championships, now can you go for the 4th I wonder :D GL!
Joshua! It was looking so good at the beginning of the season! You were there but in the end it didn't quite pay off. I wish you the best of luck for the upcoming season but watch out for Edin and maybe even Richard who seem to be getting ready to start a massive attack on the top of the top tier next season. I'm excited for what is yet to come!

Gl to everyone in FZW for the final 2 races of the season and the entirety of season 17 of Formula Zero West!

EOS24 OFZ write up:

Just like Formula Zero West, the rookie tier of OFZ saw two championship contenders battle it out throughout the season, although this time the battle continued until the final race of the season. Claus had to gain 32 points to win the championship so losing it seemed mostly inevitable for him. This was until qualifying for the final race had been completed and Tomas was no where to be seen, over 3 seconds off of his rival. Throughout the final race Claus performed admirably and wrapped up the final race of the season with a 1-2 in the race and an unlikely constructors championship! Well done on achieving your 1st title and good luck on maybe becoming the 3rd danish manager to reach the elite tier in OFZ!

As for Tomas, unfortunately your second championship in the league just barely escaped you, but it must at least feel good to have had the pace to lead the championship for most of the season. There's some good pace still left in you and I'm sure that with it you'll manage to stay in pro! GL
=====
This season in pro was nothing short of domination once again. This time it was Kirky, another ex-elite tier manager, who took the top spot. With a much higher level than his opponents anything less than the title would have been disappointing but in the end he did with 10 race wins too! Good luck for your return to the top tier of OFZ!

The battle for promotion was fairly close right at the end even if it wasn't for almost the whole season. Conor had spent most of the season in a comfy 3rd position but later on started to find more pace and got the final race win of the season. This lead to it only being 16 points between him and Varman but Varman of course was the one who finished 2nd in the championship after the finale. Good luck for your first 17 races in elite Varman! The competition will be super tough!
And of course, good luck to you, Conor! Max seems to be making a charge with his talent 20 drivers!
=====
And finally, elite. The whole tier got to experience some great battles, great arguments, great rivalries and great tragedy. For example the tight fight at the relegation zone contested by the returning Oppco, the point-getter Connor, and the new elite, Paolo. They all battled hard but in the end Connor claimed the unlikely points he needed to stay up and Oppco was saved by a leaving player. The man who finished on top of all of this could only have been the dominant champion from the season before, Marc! Now with another 9 wins to his OFZ tally of wins and another constructors and drivers championship, he really does seem unbeatable over the course of a season! But if you were racing in that elite tier, you would have seen the in the latter stages of the season that Marc seemingly lost his brilliant speed with him not being able to win from Germany until Abu Dhabi where he finished off on a high note. Maybe this could be a sign for the end of the "Marc era". After all, some of the players in elite have expressed a lot of confidence in their pace going forward! Peter M, the level 13 who moved up to elite after last season, proved to be a difficult man to beat for a lot of the best so maybe things are changing in the tier and it's time for a new face to write their name into the history books!

Who will win OFZ's 25th elite, pro and rookie championships? There's only one way to find out...
