There are 2 pros that will meet the inactivity required for a kick in two days, so maybe there'll be a space then. For now I can't kick anyone because they could still become more active

Once again we've reached the end of a season for OFZ. For the rookies it turned out to be a relatively close battle between the rookies from pro and the rookie from rookie! In the end the manager from pro, Chris, was able to wrap up the championship with a couple of races to go and now he can look forward to the upcoming season back in the middle tier!
As for the person following him up, who knows who it will be. Zizinjo, the other manager from pro has the best chance, but I think it's all up for grabs so gl to you and Sooraj for the last two races!
=====
In pro we saw 2 more people who got demoted take the top 2 at this stage in the championship. Paolo, after just 14 races in the pro tier, has claimed the championship and gotten himself back into the the top tier! He definitely showed a lot of determination to win and I'll be happy to seem him competing with the best of OFZ next season!
Maxime was the other ex-elite manager to make his way back to the tier and he showed some signs of incredible pace. But who knows how much that handicap is hiding the pace the next level 18 to be part of the tier!
Luke, who was the rookie champion from season 23 also had a great season with him getting 3rd, I'm sure he'll feel that there is certainly a possibility to reach elite after season 26 if not the season after. Gl to you for the last two races and next season too.
=====
And once again we reach elite. This season brought us some of the tightest finishes we'd ever seen in the league, all which involved the returning OFZ legend, Leo. He really made it seem as if he hadn't lost his touch with him winning most of the races in the first half of the season. In the end his superior pace and level, lack of consistency from opponents and a bit of luck brought him to his 15th official championship in any FZ league. A record that is unlikely to be beaten anytime soon...
Even though Peter, who finished a dominant 2nd over Razvan, had a far inferior level he still have Leo many close battles and finishes with him taking some wins along the way too. In the end the, due to some bad luck, he wasn't able to win the fight with Leo. Although with Leo being replaced by Oppco, if Marc, Razvan, Sak, Bo, and maybe even Maxime are ready he could have an interesting fight for his 2nd elite title!
That's it for this season everyone! GL for season 26 of OFZ!

This season proved to be a near record breaking season for the championship winner, Marcel. He was only two wins off of 17, which would have gotten him the win record for rookie, and 1 off of equalling it. Marcel's was still by far the best performance out of any championship winner compared to their rivals. I really feel like he is ready for the middle tier, so gl for what promises to be another high finishing season.
Krishna could only manage one 1 but due to his consistency he still managed to dominate the rest of the field with the closest person to him being 100 points behind. GL for next season Krishna, I hope you will do well too!
And Brecht, even though you didn't get promoted, you still showed a lot of speed throughout part of the season and even got a win, so next season will probably be you're opportunity to reach pro! GL
=====
This season we saw the two Stefanoses get promoted and almost take 100% of the wins. After many seasons in the middle tier both of them were able to finally find an opportunity with a great car and drivers to move up! Gl to both of you in elite and well done to Stefanos L for winning the title!
Greg, who has slowly been moving up the order in pro since he got there, will have a great chance of being promoted this season after finishing 3rd in the championship and getting 2 wins. It definitely won't be easy with Marcel, Krishna, G C and C G joining the tier but I'm sure you'll be up there! GL to you next season too!
=====
And in Elite, for most of the season it was smooth sailing for Tariq, as he seemed set to become the first to win 4 consecutive championships. But unfortunately due to an inability to show up races after DST ended, he lost a lot of points in the final 3 races, allowing Joshua to take the final 4 wins and the championship too. The curse of 3 consecutive championships continues for FZW and for Joshua this brings the beginning for what could be many seasons with him at the top. We'll have to see whether Tariq can show up to races with the new half hour earlier time slot!
This season saw many of the higher levelled managers get wins, Richard won Australia; Mario, who unfortunately left, in 2 others; Edin was also able to win one too but in the end Manuel was able to beat all of them with no wins. So if Joshua wants to win his 3rd FZW championship he'll have to beat these managers to the top spot consistently!
As for the rest of the tier, I definitely enjoyed seeing the little battles like Mick and David fighting for points at the beginning of the season or the struggle to stay out of relegation for the bottom 3 and I hope we'll see more of that for season 18 of FZW!
GL to everyone and prepare for what the new season, new time and new faces, will bring!

Once again, we've reached the end of the season. But this season was no ordinary one, it was most certainly a historic one for most in any tier of the league!
Let's start with the story of the rookie tier: here, we saw the most experienced manager from the tier absolutely dominate. Sooraj completed the season with a total of 11 wins, over 300pts ahead of his next rival, and proved he is worthy of a spot in the even tightening pro tier.
Alexander and Abdullah were a lot closer, with only 17pts separating them; Alexander's 1 win in Abu Dhabi to Abdullah's 0 was all he needed to be the one to make the move up to pro!
Great job Sooraj and Alexander! GL in pro next season!
As for Abdullah, I have no doubts that you will be right at the top once again, if not fighting for the championship. The only managers that could stand in your way are the 2 new managers from pro and the talented newcomers hungry for early success!
======
In pro we almost got a two way battle for the whole season, mostly due to some glitches one of the managers was getting, but a battle nonetheless. Throughout the 17 races of season 26, Luke was trying his absolute best to keep up and surpass the pace of his clearly faster rival, but once Mat was able to sort out his issue he was able to run away with the championship, completing it almost 100pts ahead of 2nd. Despite this, Luke's Luis Alonso was only 6 points away from winning drivers championship so maybe he'll still be able to be some trouble for the elites going into next season! GL to both of you for the upcoming season in the top tier!
Speaking of trouble, the underdog to watch in this tier really had to be Claus. After only 1 full season in the tier, he was already challenging for wins and got 1 against what really did appear to be a dominant top 2, while also taking a likely 3rd away from the far more experienced season 17 rookie champion Tomas. I will definitely be looking forward to his performances in what could be the season which gets Claus a ticket to the top tier! GL to you too Claus!
======
And who could forget about elite. If you were one of the ones who watched the races I'm sure you'll agree that they were spectacular. The season began with Peter taking a comfortable win and 3rd to get the championship lead. With another win in Malaysia it seemed as if he was going to run away with it. But after this race he seemed to completely lose any ability to win, and excluding a massive strategy mistake from Marc in a wet Monaco, he was certainly losing a lot of ground to the 2 time OFZ champion as the season progressed. Once we reached Hungary, Marc took what some thought to be a risky decision to do start on S instead of Peter's choice which was SS. Although it was this decision that ultimately allowed him to get a 1-2 and close the gap even more. Peter seemed completely out of it mentally and needed a win to encourage him. So he went out and got one, 1st and 3rd even. With the championship leader, Peter, now being more determined than ever to try and bring it home but Marc still having more momentum, we all new it was going to be close...
Sak went on to win Belgium and Italy, Peter in Singapore, which only delayed Marc's charge. Without a through and through 1-2 with Connor taking a surprising 2nd in Japan, the season brought as to an all important Brazillian gp for both. Peter needed to gain 4 points to Marc to wrap it up, Marc needed a 1-2 to keep it realistic, neither got what they wanted. And now with the gap at 36pts heading into the finale it seemed almost certain it was over. But let's just say things still weren't going to be easy for Peter. With Marc once again gambling for a harder starting tyre, and Oppco looking for the 1st part of the race, it looked like last pro champion to win a championship in elite was about to do it again! But nothing could have predicted one of Peter's cars retiring from the GP. Now the championship was once again up for grabs, Peter was no where, Marc was gaining on the top 2, trying to get that all important 1-2 he needed to win the championship...
But Peter just had enough pace to get himself into what he needed to confirm him as the champion of the 26th season of OFZ, and with Marc not even being able to win the final race he did it by 16 points. Peter averaged under 1 more point than Marc per race, but that's all you need to be a champion!
The battle between the top two was absolutely amazing, but the rest of the tier also had a lot of fun and position swapping. Razvan (4th) and Sak (3rd) were only separated by 11 points and everybody from 6th all the way down to 12th all seemed so close to each other in the championship and on track. With Oppco joining that battle in the final race alone, but this season he'll be enjoying a whole new challenge in FZW while Tariq from FZW will compete in the tier for season 27 as FZ completes it's first interleague swap! I'll be interested to see how they both perform in new leagues!
So in all honesty I can not wait for the next season because season 26 has given us something we have to remember, but it could all just be a teaser for what is yet to come! That's it for S26 of OFZ, it's time for S27!

Season 18 for the FZWs was just as chaotic if not more so than the for the OFZs. Let's see how this season went on for them!
Once again, rookie had many inactives, but at least we were finally given a full 2 way battle in the tier to the end. Brecht and Vijay has both spent just under a full season in the tier but as their season went on they both showed great talent and consistency to stay near the top and near each other throughout the whole season. Only these two were able to get a win or a pole position throughout the whole season, which just shows how far above the rest they were in the end. Even with 10 wins to Vijay's name, they ended the season only 40pts apart, which was a far smaller gap just 3 races before the end of the season! Congrats on your first FZW championship Vijay and well done on the move up to pro Brecht! I hope you get many more in the future!
=====
In pro the situation was a lot less tense at the top. G Cooper was able to completely run away with it, with a total over 200pts ahead of 2nd. So well done on getting your 2nd pro FZW championship GC and gl in elite!
As for the manager who followed him up, I can only say "how did you do that?" because somehow after only 17 races in the tier Marcel was able to beat Greg, the manager who I was backing to reach elite last season, and simultaneously take 4 wins with that too! Great job Marcel! Keep levelling up and racing and I'm sure you'll be at the top of FZW winning many many championships!
And Greg, next season, 100% sure you'll be moving up too!
=====
Finally we end in the top tier and the season that gave us the closest ever points finish in the history of FZ. For the first half of the season, excluding the first few races where Mike was leading the championship, it all seemed like a typical Tariq season. He was really starting to run away with it too until Joshua, being many points behind at this point, began his comeback! The wins in Europe and Belgium and Singapore all helped him to take the championship lead away from Tariq, putting him ahead by 22. Joshua really needed the win to extend his lead, Tariq needed the win to destroy the lead In the end Tariq was able to get a 1-2 with Joshua just behind, bringing the gap down to a barely 5 points in Brazil. The race seemed utterly predictable in the beginning with Tariq and Joshua both being very close to each other on one stops. Once both had stopped onto mediums they seemed set to take the top 4 positions. That was until the heavens opened on lap 20, and the race completely flipped onto it's head...
There was chaos in the pits. Everyone behind the top 4 pitting & fitting inters. No one knew what was going on! Only Tariq and Joshua stayed out...
Once the mm had reached about 1, and those inters runners were gaining so much, Tariq decided to give in and go in on lap 24, handing the lead to Joshua and his other car. Tariq pitted his other car on the next lap, but Joshua only brought one in...
And as the laps went on, it seemed both of them were going to get 0 points going into the finale, but after some unfortunate pitting Tariq found himself in 3rd and 6th! Joshua didn't manage to get 1. And with that race the championship was now a complete flip of Japan: 18 points in Tariq's favour. The pressure was on, tensions were high: Tariq announced the swap with Oppco just hours before the race, Joshua had his final chance to beat Tariq fair and square, and as the OFZs proved, even a 36 point can disappear in one race. Qualifying looked great for Joshua and terrible for Tariq and after the first laps it seemed Joshua had it in the bag, but as the race progressed even further, and no one seemed to show Joshua any sign of handing him a free win even with what was on the line, a final switch of championship position was beginning to become even more unlikely. Tariq was also making his own progress, moving up the field and getting both cars exactly where he needed to wrap up his 4th FZW championship and what could have been his 5th consecutive one too! I feel so privileged to be able to see what he has achieved in such a short space of time in the tier, and how much of a presence he has been in the tier but I also can not wait to observe his performances with a good car in the ruthless tier that is OFZ elite. I wish you the best of luck for the following seasons!
As for Joshua, even though season 18 didn't gone to plan, the progress you've shown over the course of 11 seasons is unrivaled. You've been able to go at it with the best of them, and find time where no one else has been able to. You've shown an incredible determination to win races and championships and trust me, that's a one of a kind trait when it comes to racing in these leagues! Now that the old competition has gone and new competition has arrived, it's time to show once again that you are the best of the best! GL for season 19 Joshua!
As for the rest of the tier, I must say I've been super proud of some of your performances! For example, Mike, who was able to take the championship lead right at the beginning of the season and continue challenging for wins after his first ever one! Or Manuel who was consistently there to offer an underdog contender for the championship and wins! Richard, you've shown some incredible progress too and obviously got a great win in Abu Dhabi! So I really want to see more of this in season 19 and I hope you all also give Oppco a warm welcome to the tier (but don't make it easy for him eh! :D)
So that's all for S18, it's time for the next to begin!
