As a Host on a League of 20 races with one race per week, I can assure you that our dynamic is different. If anyone wants to reach TOP Level fast, they have to search another league that competes more frequently. I reached lvl20 after racing once a week for almost 5 years & the only reason I left the game once was because I found no way to promote to Elite in a League that fit to my timetables. The rest of the time I've had a lot of fun playing the game & luckly I've been fighting for the championship almost all my seasons, though my first objectives in Elite were to score points (I overestimated my rivals at the beggining).

Only 1 team wins per season, the rest are losers, so maybe we should not be obsessed with winning & we should focus on beating ourselves.

IMO if you want to stop people grinding race xp in daily raises and then going to weekly raises and destroying the league. Put in maximum obtainable experience per week, so daily leagues cannot acquire 7 times more experience than other leagues.

Or at least set a level cap for joining for leagues to prevent a level 30 joining and destroying a league of ~22's

or, give players that have not raced after x number of days bonus experience.

or, add more methods of gaining experience but again, implement a cap per week

I wish people would stop trying to handicap the players who have reached end game. This is not the way.

There is nothing mentioned here about handicapping those who have reached endgame.

This is about 1 per week to 7 per week managers gaining exp.

Sorry you're right, but you are still handicapping players they play daily.

No handicapping daily racers in this sense would be to give them less experience than the weekly racers. This balances the playing field so a team that races 7 times a week doesn't hit level cap and then swap to a daily league 8 levels higher than the rest. It would utterly destroy that league as nobody would be able to develop as fast as they would.

I think it’s highly unlikely that someone who has reached the cap racing 7 days a week would choose to go to a 1 race a week league.  There would be a few, but they would be a niche within a incredibly small subset of the game.  I can’t get my head around why a 1 day a week racer should earn the same xp as someone who races everyday though.

Exactly me either, it's just stupid.

Though I understand your concerns about what Mr. Lyons said, he is right. We've seen some people that in order to reach lvl20 faster they left the league to a daily racing league & then return.

Maybe that is not the best solution, but now there's an advantage for those managers who play everyday against those who don't.

Isn’t that right though.  If you only race once a week why would you expect to progress as quickly as someone who races every day?  That’s how any game which has levels work.  If you play every day you progress faster

What David is describing seems very different to what you are talking about though Tbf and I think unlikely, but of someone choose to go from weekly to daily racing why should they be stopped?

Then I guess with other David, our only alternative is to kick people from the league that will utterly dominate the league with their substantial level advantage.

Since you are a level 20 with a substantial advantage will you lead by example?  (Just posting this to illustrate why your suggestion is wrong)

There no use in arguing about this because it will never happen and rightfully so as it's an idiotic idea.

Actually it would even be positive thanks to dynamic experience. Players with lower levels would gain more experience thanks to higher level players.

Considering that it is now 22/01/2023 and we have been told that it will come out in January, is there any firm date this month that this update will be coming out?

Questions on additional levels, does the headquarters also receive additional levels or only certain departments?

Then will there be changes to Elite car design caps? 30 Design points + level 30 staff would mean a lot of players would be maxed out in at least half the categories before the end of the season.
