We're excited to share some major news that will redefine the future of iGP Manager. This year we will be introducing a complete gameplay overhaul with the launch of the 2024 car that will transform every aspect of your experience. In this blog, we'll give you a high-level overview of the upcoming changes and what to expect. These updates will make iGP Manager more accessible to newcomers and more immersive for veterans than ever before, and all of this will be arriving this year. Stay tuned for previews soon.

A Fresh Look and Feel

Navigating the game should be smooth and intuitive. We’ve been busy crafting a sleek, modern interface that not only looks stunning but also enhances usability. The newly redesigned UI/UX will streamline your management tasks, from setting up your race strategy to analyzing post-race data, making it easier than ever to stay on top of your team's performance. We’re currently refining this with feedback of top managers.

Revamped Leagues

We know how crucial a fully populated league is to the excitement of iGP Manager, especially in the Pro tier, which has seen some challenges in recent seasons. To address this, we will be rolling out an improved league system designed to populate all tiers more effectively and quickly. As soon as the update is released, each tier will be brimming with active players almost immediately. You will find competition at all levels, and we know how hotly demanded this is, so it’s a high priority focus for us among all the updates.

Community at the Forefront

Alongside the changes to the league system, the community will be brought front and center in gameplay, creating new opportunities for cross-league play. We will be introducing a brand new global events system which managers can participate in outside of leagues as well as plenty of opportunities and reasons to take part in Quick Races, ensuring they too will be more populated.

New 2024 Car

As you already know, the brand-new car model is on its way, reflecting the latest advancements in motorsport technology. This isn't just a visual upgrade; the new model will bring fresh dynamics to car development and make more than just 'the big 4' design attributes count.

Welcoming New Players

Making iGP Manager more accessible to newcomers is a major focus too. This is the first hint as to what is going to change about the league system. Introducing your friends to the game or getting started yourself can sometimes feel daunting. There will be a new onboarding process, improved tutorials and simplified gameplay for newbies, removing barriers and making it easier for new players to jump right into the action and get racing. This will be achieved without altering gameplay for experienced managers, ensuring a more engaging experience as you level up, with new features and areas unlocking along the way.

Our Commitment and Gratitude

We have never been more dedicated to ensuring the success of iGP Manager. As I mentioned in the last blog, this year brought major changes to my personal and family life, which presented challenges in maintaining our momentum. To keep things moving forward, I made the decision to personally invest in our future, taking on substantial personal debts, using loans and even my own credit cards to invest in iGP. José Trujillo, our community manager, has also stepped up and made the tough choice to leave university and also took out a significant personal loan, to be able to invest his full time in iGP. Running an online MMO comes with real costs—servers, storage, salaries, and ongoing development. Thanks to a comprehensive restructuring plan and the success of recent updates, the financial situation is steadily improving, and we're excited to continue this positive trajectory with these major updates. We are incredibly thankful for the unwavering support from our community, which has been vital in helping us navigate this journey.

Gearing Up for a Big Marketing Push

Once these updates are live, we're not stopping there. We're planning a major marketing campaign to put iGP Manager back on the map. With our refreshed UI/UX, new car model, and revitalized league system, we're confident both new and returning players will find the game more engaging than ever. We'll be spreading the word far and wide, and via the new referral system, you can earn free tokens for telling your friends too. Every word of mouth referral helps, and our goal is to ensure that our wonderful community continues to grow and thrive.

Stay Tuned

This total overhaul marks the beginning of a new chapter for iGP Manager. We can't wait for you to experience all the improvements we've been working on. As we get closer to the launch, we'll be sharing more details and sneak peeks of what's to come. You can expect screenshots and previews in my next blog. Get ready!

Random events like Safety Cars and DNF would be really exciting

Also it would be great to have more options to pre-manage the race if you aren't going to be present, as it's a big disadvantage if you aren't online when the race is going

Add DNFs (mechanical or simulate crashes from time to time, even if it looks unreal in the 3d but just to make it look like cars battling can be sent out of the track or suffer damage) and Safety cars that change the races.

This will make slower cars have opportunities to surprise. Otherwise, this game is just farming until getting the max level and then finally win something.

I think safety cars could work well if they were done at good moments and they lasted for a good amount of time

Moving strongly away from P2W? Does that mean we get our fuel decimal point back ?

Does this mean we will be getting the modern ERS system rather than the KERS-style one we have now?

I would like to give some advice

- 30% recharge of the Kers during braking

-addition of new circuits

-use of red tyres for free practice and pre-race qualifying

-addition of a title sponsor for the team and car

-Personalisation of helmet and driver number on the car

-Pre championship testing to better train and develop the car
