We need blue flags! I was stuck behind a lapped car for two laps in my race in Sepang, and it lost me so much time and a potential podium. I'm not sure whether blue flags exist, but they need to be more active, and show that they have been waved. Pls, its such an easy fix

Why didn't you just boost past or use your PL into a hairpin? I've always found that gets me past lapped cars.

I absolutely support, but the fact that they are already flags, they are unlikely to add this chip, and it is sad...

I didn't want to waste it. Its always best to use it all on the last lap and a half, and its helped me make many more places up on the final lap and get the fastest lap as well

Fastest lap? Why bother unless it's just to boost your ego. And as for using all your boost on the last 2 laps, what a boring race you must have, sitting there for 40 minutes, doing nothing. I really can't stand all this last lap boosting, it makes a mockery of the race and everything the devs are trying to do. It's so unrealistic to suddenly go 5 - 6 seconds faster.

You can't do that in the league that I'm in, we have rules about boosting which make you really have to think hard about how you use it.
And surely a quick burst of boost, using 5% would gain you more time by getting past than being stuck behind a car for 2 laps

I think that if you are stuck behind a lapped car, it gains you more than you lose, cause you get DRS and can gain 0,8 - 1s in one lap.

Because with the new update dirty air is stronger and therefore overtaking backmarkers can be difficult, especially in the wet when you have no boost

I always do it and I get many positions like I did in that race. It works so I won't change my strategy

So you’d rather lose time behind a lapped car than use abit of boost? Did you not get drs to get past?

Can you confirm this or is it just speaking from your experience? Was this information announced somewhere? Tnx

It was not announced, but in some tracks like Malaysia or Australia and others you can now lose a lot of time behind lapped cars (tested with my experience in the tracks after the update)

Blue flags aren’t needed, it is usually pretty  easy to get past a lapped car, if you’re stuck behind one, boost or wait for DRS

DRS was disabled.

Blue flags exist in F1 to avoid backmarkers changing the race result, which in my case they did.

I don't see the need I'm sorry, overtaking is pretty simple and easy

Really? I'll look at you in the rain when you drain your battery, or lock it up, and lose your victory, or podium
