Scheduled Maintenance (24 Nov @ 11:00 UTC)

We will have a 3 hour maintenance window tomorrow, during which all scheduled races will be postponed. We expect this will run from 11:00 UTC to 14:00 UTC but may be longer or shorter depending on how long things take.

We are deploying a major update to the service, including the rescaling of 5 tracks and countless improvements and fixes, as mentioned in the blog (note: The blog timeline has been offset by a couple of weeks since it was written). An app update will accompany this and we highly recommend downloading it during the maintenance window on Google Play and iOS. Other platforms will follow as soon as they are ready.

iGP Manager will still be accessible during this time on all management screens. The maintenance window will only impact races that are scheduled to start during the maintenance window. Races starting before this time will even run and be accessible during the maintenance window. E.g. if your race starts at 10:30 and runs until 12:00 UTC you will be able to manage it. If your race starts between 11:00 - 14:00 UTC then it will be postponed.

The maintenance is complete and all updates are live, but only Google Play and iOS will have the visually updated tracks and more today.

Windows standalone update should follow tomorrow, with other platforms taking a little longer. We have no hard date yet for the WebGL and Huawei AppGallery release of this update, but I would estimate within 1-2 weeks.

In the meantime, if you can play on Google Play or iOS, we strongly recommend using those platforms to experience this update.

WINDOWS USERS

You can now get the update on Windows standalone. One caveat... we seem to be having some issues with the patcher, so if your game is not automatically patched to version 4.050 you can get the update by uninstalling the game and then reinstalling it via the standalone installer. You can get it here or spectate any race on the spectate list for a prompt for the installer.

We will work on resolving the issues with the patcher tomorrow if they persist (it's complicated 😅).
