Java update & iGP viewer blocked by security settings

Jack, me and some subscribers in my league we still have major problems with the 2D.

Continues to take a long time to load (over 2 minutes in my case), and after load a few seconds later the image freezes. This always happens after the 2D load.
Sometimes we just listen the race sound and no image.

Yesterday only after 3 attempts got the 2D worked.

After all these problems to load the 2D, few minutes later, 10/15 minutes, the problems start again. Gradually the image begins to get slow, cars moving backwards and after very quickly to foward.
This usually ends with the 2D freeze again. New refresh and the boring wait for that load.

Sometimes cars seem to jump.

You say it is no longer necessary the steps on fist post, but I have disabled that function and my access to 2D was blocked again.
Only with that steps I can have access.

It is possible to see what is happening?
It is very frustrating trying to watch a race in these conditions.

Hi Jose, sorry to hear you're having problems. Could you try enabling the Java console before trying to run the viewer again so we can work out where it's going wrong?

Go to Windows control panel, click Java and then the Java control panel should pop up. Go to the advanced tab and under 'Java Console'  check the 'show console' box. 
Also try completely clearing the Java cache to make sure you're running the most recent version of the viewer. Under the 'general' tab click 'Settings' under 'Temporary Internet Files' . In the pop up box check off all 3 boxes then click 'OK' and launch the viewer again. It'll download a totally new copy at this point so it'll take longer than usual, just be patient.

If you try and run the viewer after doing that the Java console should pop up in a new window showing a pile of messages. They'll probably keep appearing for a while, just wait until they stop and copy and paste all the contents here so we can try and work out the problem.

I have windows 8. What do you mean with "General tab?"

Yeah that's the one thanks, however is this when you run the viewer with the lowered security settings as detailed in the first post? I'll need to see the Java log with the regular settings before I can work out what's blocking it.

There's a number of different tabs at the top of the Java control panel, one is titled 'general'.

I use with high security.

This has happened again...

Following a java update (ver 7 update 55)
I now get "your security settings have blocked a self-signed sandbox application from running" when trying to open the 2D app.

Advice please?

Switch to literally no security setting, it works now for me, i had the same issue.

My version of Java has no security setting options... any ideas please?

I wish iGP just dumped old old old hat Java and changed up to Flash. I never get issues with Goal United, which is a browser game with 90% of it being live updates all day every day.

Do you get the same error (the line in bold) if you try the Live Timing + Control? I can't test 2D as I don't have a subscription.

i got this same problem since new java update earlier this week, i have the the excemptions in but only way i can get to work is to put the slider on the lowest setting, where as before i only need to add the 2 sites for it to work. It works but dunno how dodgy it is for me running security on lowest setting.

Live timings are fine for this account. It is my 2D with the other account that is not working.

Live timings = IE (Latest version)

2D = Firefox. (Issues with this one.)

Live timing doesn't have issues, it's the 2D that does.
