Thanks for bringing this to our attention, we're looking in to it. In the meantime there is an easy workaround which is to adjust the security settings to medium (see method 1 in the first post:

Thanks for letting us know about this, we performed a security update to the viewer and it should now run without being blocked by security settings regardless of security level.
If you're still having problems try clearing your Java cache first to ensure that you are running the updated version. This can be done by opening the Java control panel, selecting the 'general' tab, click 'settings' under the header 'Temporary Internet Files', click 'Delete Files...' then make sure all three boxes are ticked and click on 'OK'.
This step shouldn't be necessary for most people, but if the viewer still appears to be blocked it will force your browser to download a fresh copy.

Has there been a recent update or something as when I try to access my 2D viewer, I just get a black screen.?
